  • @blueveek Looks great. Will there be ghosting of the layers, so you can see them atop each other?

Yes, this feature is one of my favorites in the first Atom.

Yup! Here's a quick video showing that (and a small tease of the animations for the new icons and UI in general) –– make sure to pick high resolution in the video settings).

  • Did you think of adding a mute notes function ? That would be a blast

Do you mean setting the velocity to 0? If so, the new automation panel makes that super easy. Otherwise, let me know, I've heard people talk about "adding rests when in step input", which is a workflow I'm still trying to understand.

  • Light theme!

    It's very easy to understand?!

For example in Logic Pro X the 'sustain pedal' acts as the rest / tie.
Ie. If notes are held down they are 'tied' to the next step, with no notes held playhead advances to the next step.

The recently released midiSTEPs is perfect example of how the rest & tie works when entering notes.
    Same with Rozeta Cells.

Very handy for entering notes & rests without tapping the screen to set the position on the time-line.

Going back to my Tracker roots the 'rest/tie button is like the arrow down key on the keyboard (ie. go to next row) entering notes advances to the next row. So it's pretty easy to 'play' the full sequence slowly using the keyboard.

The sequencer on my Yamaha SY85 uses the sustain pedal to add ties/rests, same with the MC-303.

Oh well, this is one of those 10 binary things, either one gets it or one doesn't :D

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • it will be fine when released. despite all the add this requests. just take your time and work on the app B)

I think more like muting C3 or E2 for example.
