Hey, @brambos - I got a bunch of people to sign the petition, and.I put their names online. Just go to this website, and click on the “Generate” button to flip through the names one at a time, until you get to the end of the list. Here they are:
Signatures for more @brambos apps
A DAW that takes all the good bits from CB3, NS2, GB, ZB, BM3 and fills in the missing features - called BB3 😉
HammerHead Rhythm Station !!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah, speaking of Scaler, as well as custom scales, which really would be so damn useful, I'd love to have an option for out of scale notes to randomly go up OR down. 😋
geez! some salty people around here sometimes. Glad most of you could see that I was just having some fun! Thanks @brambos for everything, hope you are enjoying your summer!
Right on reverend.
@shinyisshiny - If you can't see the nuanced point I was attempting to make in my original reply, then you're welcome to dismiss me as salty.
The irony is that everyone here suggests leaving Bram to make his own plans.. and then immediately start posting their own personal wishlists. I'm somewhat reminded of the children running rampant in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory.
I don't mean to appear harsh (or salty), but If you really want to exert some influence on the apps that get built... start building.
Geeze man lighten up.
Very few people here take themselves as seriously as you seem to think. This is just BS'ing down at the pub, not backseat driving.
I'm well aware I'm the only one taking myself seriously here.
For whatever reason I feel quite strongly about this issue. Perhaps more so than I realise.
I don't mean to sound overly aggressive 🙂
You should have seen the family row over Brambos apps last Thanksgiving at my mother in law's house. At least it wasn't about Trump this year.
🤣🤣🤣
lol
Au step sequencer and midi clip launcher to rival what Logic and Ableton have to offer.
I think he is making a Auv3 Solitaire so we don’t have to leave our daw when we lack inspiration.
Nah. He's working on a sequencer that outputs to Bluetooth typing keyboards.
And flash the NumLock LED to the beat, yeeeh.
Would be cool if it was something similar to mononoke. Not in sound but in a experimental sense. Either way, I’ll definitely support!
bramsamp - audiounit pads that record incoming audio and can resample live from pad to pad
second request 😂😂 jk but man i really need this
Ruisampler. Yum.
Thinking something delightfully simple/fun like Sir Sampleton or the lost-to-time iOS classic I Am Sampler would be "on brand Bram". No multi-sampling. No sample chopping. No time-stretching. Sample something and play it across the keyboard. I trust Bram to come up with his own interesting and/or useful twists on the idea.
One keep-it-simple idea that comes to mind would be the ability to capture up to 4 samples (like I Am Sampler) and have them be addressable via four separate MIDI channels (like Sir Sampleton) and/or use an XY pad to blend them into a single sound.
Host: Maybe too large of an app but.... A MIDI AUv3-only host app with a dirt simple timeline (no piano roll or anything—everything is generated via MIDI AUs). Load Rozeta AUs (or other MIDI AUs) into tracks. Tracks have MIDI outs (for pointing at synths hosted in another app like AB/AUM/NS/Whatever). Set the loaded MIDI AUs up to do whatever you like. Capture the current state as a 'scene'. The timeline is just a linear set of scenes. Each timeline slot allows you to set how long a particular scene plays (1 bar, 8 bars...) before moving on to the next scene. Like a song-mode on most drum machines—nothing more. Tracks can host more than one AU, primarily to make use of Mozaic like tools inline with other AUs.
I'm just grateful Bram made Cells. Hands down the most versatile sequencer I've ever used.
A way to group, organize and navigate (and get the most out of CPU resources by enabling/disabling AUv3s as needed) instruments and effects, driven by MIDI AUv3, section by section, would be incredible. If not Bram, somebody really should take a stab at that. Though, with Bram, we know it would just plain work and probably only a 500k download 😂
Pretty much add a queue to AUM. Or ApeMatrix. Or whatever. Or actually fix BM3. Anything like we already use but able to dynamically hand off one snapshot/scene/config of plugins/settings for another after xyz bars. Bonus for basic CC automation per section, and I wouldn’t complain if it installed with its own fully functional piano roll AUv3 for good measure.
Great idea, I hope you post it wherever it might have a chance of sparking such a project.
As for Bram, I predict...a...an...uh, well...I mean...shit man, I wasn’t anywhere in same ballpark guessing what any of his previous apps were until details dropped, so...fucked if I know. Whatever it is, I’ll preorder/instabuy it without even checking the price. He earned that from me back around the time Ripplemaker debuted.
Hmmm. If it's unconventional for Bram, who excels at making unconventional apps, it must be something conventional. My guess is another shimmer reverb...
I second a BRAM-DAW. Was playing with Ripplemaker this morning. Such a fun synth.
😂
I'd happily pay for a polyphonic RippleMaker. "Wakemaker"? "Ripplemakerz"?
I hate doing this suggestion for developers thing, but I really want a Bramdrum with LinnDrum-esque EPROM samples and possibly the ability to load custom EPROMs. The Ruismaker 80s snare almost, almost (but not quite) did it for me, so I still have to resort to the samples folder for drums. I'd love to have his take on a sample based drum machine, however boring that may be to some. Gotta nail that snare though!
I really can't believe with all the 808's noone's ripped off a Linn for iOS yet. There's a great VST out there, but I don't even have a laptop anymore.

Good lookin out, but those samples are bad quality and some are definitely not authentic. No hi-hat groove either. Yes I know I'm asking for a niche product but everyine else is doing it.
I think people are afraid of being sued. I've heard those samples are pretty aggressively protected.
