I really can't believe with all the 808's noone's ripped off a Linn for iOS yet. There's a great VST out there, but I don't even have a laptop anymore.

Good lookin out, but those samples are bad quality and some are definitely not authentic. No hi-hat groove either. Yes I know I'm asking for a niche product but everyine else is doing it.

I think people are afraid of being sued. I've heard those samples are pretty aggressively protected.

Yeah there's this bastard named Forat in California who services Linns and builds new ones because somehow he got the rights to the sounds. He seems to have backed off in recent years, because Samples From Mars, for one, openly advertise their LM1 and Linndrum packs now (they used to be secret purchases).

The Linndrum samples are in Touchscaper IIRC.

I've got samples, I just wanted an AUv3 with multiouts and a good pitch shift algorithm and the full set of samples all in one place (currently have to use IAA Patterning 1 AND 2 to throw in congas, ride, crash, etc.). Like I said, a niche ask.

Maybe Moodscaper would release the Touchscaper drum section as a AU app. That would be pretty, pretty cool. Actually just having his sequencer as an AU app would be great.

  • If Cells could contain audio or midi clips that would be pretty cool.

  • If Rhythm exposed the number of steps to cc modulation it would be amazing. Imagine being be able to inject fills by sending cc to steps. Or getting a constantly evolving rhythm by send lfos to modulate steps.

I got a bunch of people to sign the petition, and.I put their names online. Just go to this website, and click on the “Generate” button to flip through the names one at a time, until you get to the end of the list. Here they are:

    Signatures for more @brambos apps

  • Maybe we should switch to using an "Open Letter to Bram Bos" approach.
The Petition process doesn't seem to fit for changing the behavior of a creative.
But "Open Letters" seem to be the right approach... and we can print it out an
use the US Post Office which is gearing up for a brisk election season hiding all mail
until after Nov 3. Hiding mail is not a trivial task for logistics experts... they typically try to
expedite delivery and not impede it but "Make America Grate Again" is in force. The wheels
    are grinning to a halt.

  • Troublemaker for NTS-1 would be so sweet :)
(I wold not be surprised if @brambos has a homebrew build for it already).

Loving the 4 part Ruismaker on the NTS-1 which has quickly become my favourite ‘tweaksynth’ with all the user oscillators available and the effects are nice with the MicroFreak too.

I second a BRAM-DAW. Was playing with Ripplemaker this morning. Such a fun synth.

I'd happily pay for a polyphonic RippleMaker. "Wakemaker"? "Ripplemakerz"? :)

Tried to recreate a monophonic-only version of this dream tonight in AUM. It “works” but it doesn’t work like a single UI with associated sequencers and comfortable switching would work.

Was actually just trying to use four instances as a sort of multi-timbral drum synth but switching between 8 windows (4x synth + 4x sequencers) just sort of revealed the ugly side of the “you can do whatever you want” AUv3 workflow. And that’s before any parameter sequencing.

A stand-alone 6-8X Ripplemaker, each with its own sequencer, rzLFO, and maybe Perforator for control sequencing would abso-effing-lutely be an instrument worth buying an iPad for imho.

Did you try AUM's ability to bring a window to the foreground with midi? Assign 8 controller pads to the synth and sequencer windows, perhaps that would give you a decent workflow. The windows remember their state, so you could choose between having all of them full-screen or maybe go for a dual split setup.

That's a clever idea! At least for when I have a controller hooked up. I forgot this was even a possibility. You have me eyeing my BeatStepPro, reconsidering. :)

  • An enhanced clone of Ableton Simpler with a mod matrix would be nice

  • A container for mozaics, please [:

    !!!!!! !!!!! .... etc.

  • The bram bros are like the Mario and Luigi of iOS. I hope they are billionaires by now, the Rosetta suite alone is the dope throne. I love all their apps I think I lack only the more normal drum machine at this point...

He is a Bos, not a Bro. (At least in dev form, to the best of my knowledge.)

    Me too.
    Oh, add MPE 😊

    When is the release?

  • Oh man, yea. HE is a BOSS then ok haha. I meant the Mario bros thing as a huge compliment. They can make a chip tune wave state folding mono machine.... with a few secret buttons that just make laser sounds....lfos hidden with the contra code that kinda thing.
