That’s great, other than the fact I don’t use dark mode... Fingers crossed....
So. Opinions on the actual sounds?
First new synth I’ve bought for what seems like ages. (First post on this forum for ages too). Sounds pretty damn interesting to me.
I was looking for something that could make the kind of interesting, harsh but smooth, digital sounds that Shape Synth does so nicely. This seems like a good candidate and seems much deeper.
I also like the complexity of Korg Wavestation and this seems to have that same multilayered thing going on too.
Anyone found a a manual? Seems like one where it’s worth reading the manual.
Thanks!
Now I can RTFM
All 31 pages of goodness
Yeah cheers I noticed on my iPad Pro everything was ok but not on my shitty older iPad.
whens the sale end on this? i am broke rn 🤣
Stylish synth.
Update to 1.0.2 released:
@VirSyn Only a minor bug - you have the L/R channels swapped as Pan is the wrong way round.
hey! do you know when the sale will end on this? thank you
Thanks @VirSyn - i noticed, even in this version, that the setting for fractal can on no screen be returned to 0 (zero).
If you modify it the lowest value you can get to is 1. Is that meant to be like this?
Thanks, @VirSyn, much better. Any chance you can add allowing us to play sounds without exiting the preset selection menu to the future fix list? Auditioning presets would be so much simpler...
@TheOriginalPaulB good idea, will make this with the next update
Really like this, but crackles on my Air2 with some presets, even in standalone, and pretty much unusable in AUM.
Despite this I’m going to stick with it, and hope to get more usage when I (eventually) upgrade my iPad.
How's CPU usage in latest version? I own an iPhone 8+ and I'm afraid to get it b/c resource requirements.
AddStation was tested here with iPhone 7 plus and i'm not aware of a patch making problems.
Coolio! I will probably only use the AUv3 and not the standalone, so performance is important. But Thanks, I think I’ll give it a shot, then. Thank you!
Bump for Virsyn.
Seems to distort less than other synths, when tweaked like a mix.
Thanks.
Its all just a single note.
just grabbed this. pretty cool synth... thanks for the video @Gavinski , sold me!
hopefully we get more presets! from abfers and virsyn..i love presets haha
I'm finding it a bit unstable so far on first go with it so hopefully we'll see more updates, sounds good though!
Getting high CPU usage on 2017 pro when sequencing with midi and stuck notes, or at least I think that's stuck notes as I'm a bit unfamiliar with it, sometimes still getting a continuous output of sound from the app when everything has stopped playing on some presets.
But yeah this is really great for experimenting and sound design, but AU parameters are hopefully coming for the synth.
Not the best patch by me now Im using again. It can be like mononoke. The morphs are like Factory but all much easier to know how to gain harmonics. Would be good I think if the mod wheel could switch blocks on block and part page. Not sure though.
How stupid. Its 4 voices. Maybe 1-4 on part and block page next to block and part.
... is really great for experimenting and sound design (, but AU parameters are hopefully coming for the synth.) ...
Yeah, a very interesting synth this is;
individual arpeggiators on every part, sequencing blocks, sympathetic sounding, not complicated, not stressing, liking it
This thing is awesome, @Gavinski’s video sold me on it pretty damn quickly
Hi is there BT issues with this app? Does it deal with BT in anyway if BT is connected via a korg app?
Trying to work out if I have a dodgy microkey air 2.
Seems ok with other apps, altough I think it happened with phospher 3 a while back.
It dosent respond to keys or is gated, then it plays sound really quiet.
Thanks.
Its not. It works on another patch ok.
The patch it wasnt working on, kb-1 started acting funny.
