  • @phasmid Thanks for the suggestion. I have a collection of cheap crap in this department and therefore have never seen the upside (quite the opposite). Will take a look at the D-Link.

  • @phasmid: Thank you. I want to record my iOS synth inside a more powerful environment. What i also would like to do is using the Nave blades just as MIDI controller and want to add a few MIDI learn parameters to it and playing Alchemy, Omnisphere and maybe Kontakt 5 etc. Or controlling 3-4 VST at the same time via the Nave keyboard. You say this works fine? That would make my dreams true ;)

  • The MIDI part is pretty easy. Recording audio is a bit more complicated, but definitely doable.

  • Thx... i think i will oder one ;)

Jim Mclaren posted a nice video on using the iCM2+ from inside Logic to do guitar reamping using the iPad and JamUp as an outboard FX processor:

  • @MusicInclusive: Thx...that looks good. Sold on it :)

  • this type of technology is still fairly new and you can expect a few hiccups..but once you get it set up and working properly its fairly stable. the great thing about the iCM2+ is how it deals with the audio so you can rec midi and audio at the same time straight into your DAW.this is the hardware that finally brings the iPad with all its great synths and apps into the pro music desktop world...otherwise its just a sketch pad.
