Woke up this morning to the happy surprise that the channel has finally passed the 1000 subs mark! I had no idea how much work would be involved to get to this point when I started 😂. I'm not kidding, it is BRUTALLY hard to build a YouTube channel!
I have to thank / blame @Charlesalbert for all of this. His asking for a video on Cs Spectral was what sowed the seed. I've learnt an absolute shit load over the past few months because of doing this. It really forced me to go in and read app manuals with a level of attention I had not been doing prior to this. The Stria video was a big one here. I don't think I would have had the motivation to read such a heavy duty manual otherwise.
I really love the comments section of the channel, it's really turning into a community. Prize for best comments goes to @royor every time, but there are so many great commenters, I want to thank all of you, your comments often make my day. @despego @Krupa and @Poppadocrock gave me a lot of encouragement from the start but there are so many more people on the AB Forum who have been fantastic supporters of the channel and I'm super super appreciative. Your passion and enthusiasm for making music on an iPad is slowly but surely infecting the masses.. little do they know about the behind-the-scenes hard work.. late hours + little sleep.. the reading of manuals (if one exists).. the contacting of the devs themselves for more detailed info.. figuring out a way to best highlight the app(s) musically.. dealing with ALL the quirks of hooking things up in iOS-land.. recording + editing audio + video.. and doing this with your own personal style.... I’m sure that’s only a fraction of what you do on a daily basis..
