What's the verdict Charles? Anything new or different here that isn't covered by other things?I know you have a hella delay collection by now 😂
@Gavinski I don’t want to be the target of Jens next post, since I’m a middle age amateur wannabe musician...
But I post a Short video of the latest two effects so you can tell me😉
If you can help me I will really appreciate to understand what is sampledelay, because I don’t get what is the point of the effect/
Good, sample delay was the only thing I was interested in... one slider, hopefully exposed to the host so I don't even need to open UI in AUM.
@Charlesalbert can you confirm if it's exposed?
I just read that sample delay, for the people who didn’t know like me, is a plug-in to fatten the sound.
Maybe you can put two identical lines of hi hats then on one of them you put some sample delay so they don‘T start together and you’ll hear a fat sound.
@0tolerance4silence
Oh nooo... it has midi in which means no AUM knob next to the node... f*ck
Yes no knob...
@Charlesalbert could you put the sampledelay on a bus so you can mix the original and delayed signal and also a bit sparser source like an ascending quarter note scale at 60 bpm? My guess is that it is just a tool to introduce latency in the signal.
Sample delay can be used for many creative things in flexible host like AUM... my main use will be latency compensation, but it can create fake stereo out of mono source too... too bad there is no feedback, it could be a resonator as well...
Ah, I was gonna ask, what is sampledelay, nice to know.
Yes.
Wow didn’t know about that. Resonator is one of my favourite effect.
Looks like I'll have to go with the other delay...
@Charlesalbert does it accept numeric input - typing in exact values?
Resonator is basically a short delay with feedback. So with AUDelay you should be ok.
No as far as I can see.
Wow it works.i love so much when I can learn this kind of magic.
Any difference from using the other resonator apps, Objeq etc? @Charlesalbert
Thanks

Who made Jens so mad about this forum?
I didn’t saw so much drama since Beverly Hills 90210.
If he needs my apology to continue working on his excellent apps, here it is my apologies. Never meant to disrespect other’s people work.
The synthesiser that requires intelligence is a soundfont player?
Lol. You’re first comment made me laugh out loud.
Definitely some entertaining material here, thank you all 😋

Jens is a Jenius... And I don’t care how crazy he is. Or idiotsyncratic his UIs are.
I buy his stuff before the prices skyrocket and they’re always in my downloads.
He might or might not be a genius, but all he's doing here is putting his GUIs on top of the plugins that Apple's engineers wrote. That's it. The GUI, that's all he's doing.
Jenius idea, no?
