@eross, that is Module KApro orchestra and Monumental Choirs.
Why do people always use pitch bend on sax in an unrealistic way? Sax players never do it like that. And the vibrato is too fast
Welp I came to ask if the sax was worth it for someone who'd only be playing it in Geoshred. Thanks for the quick answer!
Maybe it can be parameter adjusted/played to taste though?
Playing with Geoshred SWAM cello on my iPad, audio into Bitwig on my desktop via IDAM, midi going back the other way. Here's an obscure and probably useless tip...
Technically you need an MPE controller to play the IAP's via midi. I just discovered by accident that by using Bitwig's 'HW Instrument' to route midi back to the iPad you can use a non-MPE controller to play the app sounds, so long as 'Use MPE' is on. Obviously not as expressive, but still sounds good playing, in this case, from a velocity sensitive Launchpad X. I wonder if there's an iPad app that might also send 'fake' MPE?
Who says they're trying to emulate a Sax. They're just having fun maybe. It's cool to take realistic sounding instruments and do things that would be impossible - unless your aim is to try to convince someone you recorded a real sax. Maybe that's what you aim for, then play as closely to what an actual Sax would sound like, whatever floats your boat 😋 I personally love taking something like ifretless brass and arping the shit out of it in ways that sound totally unrealistic but very interesting.
Really will love to shoot StepPolyArp at this beauty.. Think is sounds better that real instruments..looking forward to Trumpets and other Horn sections.. Excellent Game changer..
Interesting, one for the 'zaic heads maybe @_ki @wim
You can do this natively by starting GeoShred standalone in MIDI OUT mode and sending your MIDI to that, routing the MIDI out of the standalone app to an AU copy of the app which runs your SWAM instrument. You do miss the benefits of MPE but can manually set up some of the dials to get a slightly more expressive sound.
I was wondering the same as you about other apps. I checked whether Virtual Keyboard had MIDI in but alas it did not. Does anyone have a copy of KB-1 to check whether this could be used as a MIDI-MPE bridge?
No joy there.
U mean it didn't work or you don't have a copy? I could check that, but would only be able to do so tmrw
Didn't work.
EDIT: This is typical, I've got 2 MPE controllers and found an accidental workaround for others... and yet now I'm trying to find other ways to do it... WTF is wrong with me??? No wonder no music ever emerges
Hahahaha. Yeah, and we've been wishing for decent mpe sounds and now figuring out ways to get them to sound like regular midi lol. Still, would be fantastic to be able to run regular generative midi and arps etc into these.
Ok. I managed to record midi in cubasis 3 but how could I use it inside Aum except from record audio loop?
Just watched the full video ! Thanks and congratulation for the hard work 👍
Thank you, glad you enjoyed @Paulo164. By the way, some ppl may benefit from reading the faq which includes important info about controllers, among other topics:

it sounds great. does orchestra have any bigger percussion like toms or taiko drums?
also do you own the cinematic IAP? if so what kind of sounds are in that? thanks your demo really inspired me to look into buying module
You can just install the free version and trial the IAPs - I'm pretty certain I'm going to get the two you mention on the basis of doing just that the last week...
Yes, for me there are big Taiko drums in the Orchestral pack (very good sounding).
cool thanks
thanks i didn’t know there was free version
Yeah, I didn’t until last week, enjoy!
Just be sure to force-quit Module after use; it's one of the all-time battery killers if left in memory…
Indeed.
When running Korg Module, my iPhone XS becomes hot and the battery is down in less than 45 minutes, even if I exit Module, don’t use Module or set the iPhone on pause. The only solution is indeed to force-quit Module.
I fell foul of this Module problem earlier with a scorching phone and a rapidly drained iPad, but can I ask what you mean by ‘force quit’? More than just quitting the app? If using as AUv3 is quitting the host enough? I ran out of juice so had to restart anyway.
If using AUv3, ejecting the AU is enough. It has no life when ejected. For standalone apps (which includes apps loaded as IAA from the host), you need to double--tap the home button and swipe up on the app to force-quit.
The worst case is loading an app as IAA from the host and quitting or force-quitting the host because the IAA app that was launched from the host sometimes doesn't show up as a running app when you double-tap the home button.
Just the standard swipe-up on the standalone version after two presses on the home button. Good question about AUv3, though; you'd think all background processes would cease if it was simply unloaded, but I don't feel confident enough to swear that's how it works.

Big congrats 🎉🎉🎉🎉
@krupa I searched for this on the Appstore, but couldn’t find it?
You need to search for Korg Module (Pro?) and then download these as IAPs
