Haha, I actually like A Cortini a lot, but that line about it sounding like one track of a song soloed has some funny truth in it.
Intrestingly all this discussion her led me to listen to some of the newer releases by @Hainbach on bandcamp and there is some stuff that I really like
However: Coming from art school education myself and going through a lot of diskussions like this I just want to add something to the topic of "like/dislike":
There is no such thing as "good" or "bad" in arts. You either click with it or you don't.
One day you don't like it, and another day you cannot live without it anymore. This is something that is also true to the artists: Performance artists e.g. can have a good day where everything runs smoothly and energy level is high, and on some other days they just don't feel like it and the audience can feel that.
What I'm trying to say is that impulse reactions in social media and forums are some weird kind of release for some of us who hold a lot of negativity inside us, and clicking the "send" button does not require a review of the things that we express: It has turned into some kind of gun trigger that can deafen or even kill any kind of artistic development and refuse the fact that art is a progress, not the production of assets that we present to a market.
And sometimes these bullets hit the targets that have a weak moment, which can ultimatively lead to fatal consequences.
So whenever you think that it was "necessary" to express your "opinion": Try to imagine how it feels when you expose yourself to a broader audience, how it feels to be that vulnurable and imagine all those sadist idiots around you waiting for this moment to just pull that ttigger.
Think(!) before you express yourself, or, as my grandmother always says: "Chew the words a little before you speak them out".
I had a post removed too. It's kinda weird. I was the first to respond to the personal insult comment. It was Just lame childish hurtful personal things that were said, and I called the poster out on it, but rephrased what he was saying and said it was not OK on a public forum to say those things.
I suppose my comment made no sense once the original post was removed, but it would be nice to get a message telling me that was happening and why.
Removing posts creates the opportunity for more misunderstandings and potential conflict, as @oat_phipps found out. I'm not convinced that removing them is the best way. Of course the original poster may have removed their post. But a mod must have removed mine.
Perhaps if a mod is involved in removing a post there should be an explanation of the reason why, to avoid misunderstanding.
And also I'm pretty excited for what @brambos and @Hainbach have come up with, to get back on topic!

Sorry if I’ve missed it in the thread - is this the “Wires” plug-in or is it something else? I’ve just watched the videos for Wires and I want it on iOS NOW!
If it’s something else, I look forward to that too. Both would of course be best!
Unforzunately there was no comment on porting Wires to iOS (yet), but there is going to be a new app which is going to be released by the end of Nov.
There’s a video on YouTube where Alessandro Cortini plays some of the music from his “Avanti” album. I think it’s “Perdere”. It’s lovely.
But when I listen to it I’m always waiting for Trent to do his stuff. And he never arrives.
*I ‘found’ his work via Nine Inch Nails. I’ve been a fan of NIN since Pretty Hate Machine (which I bought without hearing purely as it was produced by Flood!) *
It’s a shame that he’s stopped his SONNOIO project. I really like SONNOIO a lot.
Hainbach reminds me a lot of AC in terms of sounds. I really love the sound design.
Funnily enough, after I said earlier in this thread that I don’t like Ambient, the top hit in my suggestions in the Music app is “Ambient Essentials” and the first suggested video on YouTube is called “ASR10 Ambient Textures Instantly”
Creepy.
I have been playing with the demo of Wires. I’m going to have to buy it. It’s fantastic.
definately

Agreed, and in the end it just comes across not just as bullying but ignorance . It's a shame because overall this forum is usually quite friendly and not hostile with things it doesn't understand. I appreciate what Hainbach trying to do and am looking forward to this collaboration
Hey,
Good morning, I missed the deleted drama parts so im a lil confused. Things seem to make sense a bit, but why would Hainbach leave the forum? I mean I know some people hate my music but that's ok (weep).
I just wanted to make sure I was respectful in my posts. I agree that there is a ton to learn from him, even if his music is not your cup of tea. I thought all was well now?
Anyway, fundamental is still cool as heck! Although im afraid to ask about the preset system now ha. I think I overwrote like all the presets which is ok but nevermind. Stay on topic to myself!
I'm sorry @Hainbach that you had a bad experience here. I didn't see all the posts in question, so can't comment on that, but as others have said, I hope that you will stick around. I value having a diversity of creative voices, whether their particular creative expression appeals to me or not or I'm able to catch their vision. It's often about enjoying watching people being creative and feeling that energy, whatever they make.
I enjoyed watching some of your videos where you talked about the vintage gear that inspired Fundamental and I hope you will decide to remain connected. And if anyone tries trolling you again, there are plenty of people who will jump on them, and pummel them into the subconscious with a wet haddock.
My experience on here has been nearly all friendly and constructive. For the sake of a couple of times where my well intended comments have been misunderstood, the strange responses that followed always came across as the other person's issue or their personal wound or misinterpretation speaking, and I knew they were not reflecting what I intended.
But I would hate to miss out on all the helpful insights and creative inspiration and friendly banter that is mostly what I've enjoyed on here.

So far I have purchased all @Hainbach collab apps and ❤️❤️❤️ them, so I am looking so much forward to this!
Excitement levels high
Brilliantly put!
I've been guilty of this, on this forum and elsewhere. There is so much value in re-evaluation of past communication. The internet is a unique gift in that way. There are more opportunities than ever to do just that. Even if you ultimately stand by your initial position, examining the way the position was shared is invaluable.
I'd recommend taking the time to watch this video, if you haven't already. Powerful stuff.
I wonder if this helped or made things worse. 🤣
Berlin/Amsterdam time ...... is there some sort of clue in there I wonder?
Yah. It is kind of awesome. A bit boring for someone with my short attention span ... but awesome nonetheless. Putting negativity behind you by turning it into a creative outlet rather than just letting it simmer ... outstanding!
My favorite bit: 2:58 - 4:04.
Thanks for encouraging me to watch it.
That's cool.
I liked his work and his videos before... but I like them even more now. Thanks for sharing.
Did not know who you are until yesterday, but I just watched this video and you seem pretty cool to me. Thanks for dropping by
Look forward to the new app by @brambos with collaboration by @Hainbach.
Me too!!! 11:30 Eastern Time Friday in U.S.
Ready!
