Stuttering with a Groove

Ha ha, thank you.
Been quiet here for a while, thought I should revive it with some old Instagram posts made when I was more focused on the imagery. Most songs are made in Reason Compact.
Tangerine Orange Satsumas 🤪
Ah @Pxlhg these are great! What were you using for your visualizations?
Thanks @Intrepolicious , appreciated! did these with some fractal imagery I created with apps like Frax, Fraksl, Fractalizer and Fractal Architect. The three first mentioned has some video export. Then it's a mixture of various steps in image and video apps. I use Lighttricks apps like Motionleap and Videoleap quite a bit. Art and graphics is my main feat, but the music really has taken over since I got the iPad in february 2020.
On behalf of the silent lurkers, this is one of my favourite AB threads. Might even add something one day. Keep it up.
A few more, guitar when present is played on an acoustic steel with Fishmans superb humbucker for ditto. I now have an electric and had almost forgot about that sound it gives.
A focus on drums and percussion with this one...
Nice one! 🙂
Here’s one that will be my doom. Can’t seem to get an idea for a beginning and/or an end. Think it has potential but if I’m not getting some idea soon it might be better to archive it. Beathawk drums, IFretless bass and SoundFount guitars plus my own ESP guitar on both comp and solo.
Am I allowed to play? Disclaimer - I'm the touchscaper developer, in case you don't know.
A very basic 4 chord nine minute noodle basically.
Also, not a single AUv3 or even AUM anywhere to be seen! What treachery is this?!
I do love the sound of these three MOOG apps together, I must say. They're simply running in the background being controlled via MIDI.

Maybe for the intro you could do some variation on the break that runs from approximately the 30 second to 50 second mark?
I wellcome your contribution.
It sounds great.
Man this is nice!!!
Koala loop that I’m working on
Feels like after a long night in the city taking the train home 😎🤪
I have tried that but it get's repeated three times in the song so I want something .. not so repetitive. A slow buildup of sorts, thanks anyway, appreciate the suggestion.
Cool song @Lorichs
Choppy chops @reasOne, curious where that trains ending up Koala is so much fun, I recently finally bought it. One of my first apps beside Loopy was Samplebot and this takes me back to those (not so long ago) first times I did something with sounds from the room and from my mouth. Now Koala is of course Samplebot on a busload of forbidden Russian steroids but you get the gist...
@Pxlhg man koala is so fun, i Use it to arrange a lot of songs, ambient to hiphop , i find arranging sequences there via Resample the best thing ever... then toss them into the sequencer. It is such a versatile machine! I grew up on the SP samplers and sold em all
Well, the fact that I had to Google SP Samplers will tell you I come from opposite worlds. But I'm getting there Did you see my post over at the Koala thread? They taunt me for using Launchpad mini as a footswitch recording guitar to Koala. Not nice. (joking, I can take it and also probably deserved it)
Wow, that looks crazy! Now I'm really interesting in tc-data. Someone mentioned tc stuff as having interesting ui's in the past, but now my interest is definitely peaked...
@Pxlhg , fantastic visuals and tracks. particularly liked the one that had ‘ Beathawk drums, IFretless bass and SoundFount guitars plus my own ESP guitar on both comp and solo’
@moodscaper , Great track as you would expect. Think it’s time to give moodunits a rest and give some love to touchscape😉
Ha I’ll have to find that post. I’ve been so busy with work I’ve been scanning the forum a lot less..i need to get back to keeping up again cuz ab forum is my fav place on the webs
Still getting inspired by these amazing posts. So here's a couple of mins in miRack. I have absolutely no clue what I’m doing, but I’ve been watching modular videos and, after twenty minutes without producing a sound, I managed to plug together a...thing.
I recorded some noise at work with Gauss and used Perforator to make it percusive. The sounds are a ventilator a water tap a hoist and my phone in a wooden box on wheels. Ruismaker Noir was added to give the track a bit of pulse.
Thanks to Bram Bos for these amazing plugins.

Another Digitalism 2000 jam...
Haven't posted here in a while! I was inspired by Polyphase, and wanted to try my hand at emulating some of its master+follower track behavior, using Drambo. The result was several tracks, with S&H cascading, feeding pitches from the upper tracks, down to the lower tracks. In the video the new Euclidian Sequencer module is used liberally across 3 tracks, with some help from Skaka to give it some vibe.
Full patch breakdown is in the video's about section.
Four instances of AudioKit Pro’s House: Mark I Rhodes for some mellow ambience.
I bought stratosphere reverb og just wanted to do something with long reverb tails.
This is how it ended
LK in AUM, Drambo for drums and flexi sampler as audio (guitars, bass, vocals) clip launcher. IVCS3, Spectrum, Nembrini, etc.
