    So I setup something similar with Beathawk yesterday and it seems to work as expected. What I try to do is mimic the Launchpad (App) workflow inside AUM rather than the Ableton workflow (never used Ableton).

    Yeah, that's it exactly re: Launchpad. Think about my reference to the Ableton workflow as Launchpad + AUv3s and you're basically there. (Thanks for the kind words on the intro music btw!)

    Honestly, I've not tried time stretching or using Apple loops within EG Pulse. I've literally just used it to sequence loops which are already at the project tempo. I have never used Apple loops at all, I have to confess! I come from a background of PC so wav is more or less all I know. Sounds intriguing though.
