Remix Live 6
Interesting.
Not sure what the keyboard is for - recording pitched samples possibly? I’m sure it’s not an onboard synth.
It looks like you will have the ability to record performances and then rearrange and edit per individual lane.
It already has a built in sequencer for recording and arranging one shots alongside its audio clip launcher.
Groovy.

is this subscription based app?
So as the village idiot... is that for IOS?
There is a subscription option for the sample packs - though you can still buy them individually - they are usually £2.99 but I see there is several In their sale at the moment for £1.99.
It is for iOS, free with IAPs for sample packs, sample import etc. Played with it a few times but not spent any money on it, new version looks interesting if that’s a timeline in the video.
Edit - there’s also an unlock everything subscription
It’s for iOS and Android.
Here’s a link to their page

Thanks Guys!!!!
It is definitely a timeline - I’ve just noticed the cut copy and paste icons - it also looks to have track mute. You can also place your step sequencer patterns on the timeline I saw at the bottom. I was hoping to spot some timeline looping markers, but I couldn’t see any so that’s a mild concern - I’m sure they will be there though.
Looking forward to having a go on this. This app also has drag and drop along with pretty good trimming facilities. You can get a fairly hefty wav file into the editor then trim it right down to a nice hit for the pattern sequencer for each pad.
Another Soon?
Looks interesting..
Out on December 2nd
It is out..
Yes
Heard the update crashes a lot
Haven’t had any crashes with it - but then I’ve only been pottering around.
New features seem like a good idea - though there is no track muting for the song or step sequencer modes which is a bit of a bummer.
I can’t seem to access the editing icons for the song - mine are greyed out for some reason.
Got this notification...
Hope this update will bring Key changing (entire song), as the Launchpad app does..
Independent track export would place this as an iOS essential...
Pushing the envelope for AU...
Says.. soon a new way to produce...
It’s still a no go for me if they refuse to implement midi and controllers.
They have been very adamant about staying touchscreen only.
But those automated knob turns give me hope....
👍🏾
No go for me too.
It’s a pity as it could be a very capable app.
Sometimes developers seems to live on a on there planet.
What’s the AU news? Is this something they are planning or is it more of a request? AU would be great.... and it’s not going to happen in Launchpad. Even separate outs would be good.
would be cool if this could sit in an AU slot in Aum and give you the ability to record into individual pads, trim them up and then perform, and record your song in the app.
I think the main problem with this app is the rate of developers to earn money through the IAP. In turn, if you make a full-fledged DAW from the app, this will reduce the need for a built-in samplepack store.
AU is a request.. but multi out would me great.. let’s see what’s up their sleeves..
yeah could be cool. when is the update ?
Only issue with launchpad for me is it’s limited to 6x8 pads. If it had more you could use it to play a whole set.
Does this have more pads?
See what you think of this
Looks like it supports 8x6 pads and that’s it
Looks like the Sequencer is worth exploring. The 6X8 pads may not be a 'limitation' after all. It is more than enough for me..
Hoping it has Multi-track export with that Song Mode, in this coming update..
Thanks..
Edit... The Song Key transpose... in the Launchpad app would be nice here too..
Yeah it looks like a well thought out app tbf
Just not for my ‘live set’ dream. I’ve asked @AmpifyxNovation if there’s a chance of adding more rows or columns of pads. The hardware launchpad has up/down left/right scrolling buttons after all.
How about multiple iPads (Running launchpad apps) with Ableton Link.. if you are doing live... The link seems to be solid... That should give you X2 what is offered..
You can activate the Multiple Mode which allows you to play more than one pad per column at the same time. So you can run all 64 pads together. Info from Mixvibes: The new update 6.1 will include an 8x6 grid for phones.
And @RajahP has a good point: You have a hell of a lot of pads available via a few additional iDevices and they can even all be active at the same time!
Nothing against Ampify Launchpad, it always serves me well and I also enjoy the interaction with Blocs Wave. But judging by how much more comprehensive and feature-packed Remixlive is compared to Launchpad, and how regularly good updates are released, the Ampify developers now seem pretty lazy and complacent. Or in the end they just don't seem to have the greatest interest in developing their iOS babies consistently and regularly. But I'm happy to be proven wrong and surprised with AU, multi-out and multi-track export. Feels like you can expect all that more from Mixvibes though.
