Thanks, yeah I think it’s a good guess cuz without saying it was a sale price at this point, might be awkward to raise it later.

Cheapest way to get LUFS loudness metering on iOS, amongst it’s other useful modes.
I just bought Analyzer for this exact reason (well, LUFS meter and AUv3 tuner). Note to anyone else that buys it for LUFS metering…you must press ‘start’ on the PEAK meter for it to register.
Jon, have you tested its accuracy versus desktop apps and plugins with LUFS metering? If so, what are your findings?
I’ve not benchmarked it’s accuracy as i only look at it as a guideline, but it’s great to have a single page where you can view Peak, RMS and LUFS beside each other.
I certainly wouldn’t rely in it for broadcast work but for keeping an eye on things for streaming servces, sure, between the three meters I feel I have a reasonable feel for where I stand.
On the desktop I’ve used Nugen products for years (probably going back to to early noughties) and highly recommend them. An iOS product for under $5 isn’t going to compare, but it’s certainly useful.
I recently got Barricade for the purpose of reading LUFS.
Have you tested it for the accuracy of it's readings?
I know of the Nugen products though I haven't used them in-depth.
I have Barricade but I tend to only use it for it’s input stage, I far prefer Fabfilter Pro-L2 for limiting and that has excellent LUFS metering. My point with AnalyzerFX was that it’s a really cost effective way of getting LUFS metering, and I like that I have a single view with peak, RMS and LUFS.
Working in Cubasis 3 I tend to use Waves L1 as my limiter as I’ve been using it for years on the desktop and if you don’t drive it too hard it adds a subtle saturation which I really like. But I always take stuff onto the desktop for a final mastering session via Pro-L. The Waves L1 pre-master still has plenty of headroom for the final master session on the desktop.
Several months ago, I did several quick tests with the 4Pockets Analyser versus Pro-L 2 and Sound Forge, I forgot if it was momentary/short-term or what, but 4Pockets was way off when aiming for, I believe -14db. Like 3db off.
I don't know how accurate my tests were, but SF and L2 were spot on, only 4Pockets was off.
Maybe you could test it out, as my Windows laptop is getting repaired.
I wanted to do a re-test for a while, comparing Barricade, 4Pockets Audio Analizer with the Youlean loudness meter on my mac, here are the results:

I’m sure you’re right but it’s what I expect from 4pockets apps. They’re not polished, the dsp isn’t the best, and they’re pitched at novices (his description on the app store for Chameleon actually has a section that states ‘what is a sampler’!) . But on balance I still think AnalyzerFX provides good value for money. I only own AnalyzerFX, NuRack and today added Digitix 2 (suprisingly useful if used strictly for sample playback). His other apps don’t appeal to me at all.
Yeah, I stop trusting the 4pockets one because of that
I just did a comparison with Youlean Loudness Meter and 4pockets Analyzer. It seemed fairly accurate (within 0.22). Youlean was exactly -13LUFS and Analyzer hit -12.78.
Was that momentary, short-term, integrated?
@sharifkerbage Sorry, missed your post. Do you recall if 4Pockets Analyser has options for momentary, short-term, integrated?
Integrated
Whole track, start to finish.
Thank you.
