I highly doubt there’s anything near the quality of FAC Alteza, Eventide’s Blackhole. Lunar Lander, Timeless, Kosmonaut.. I could go on.

Sure. I have basket too. I think I'm up to about $30 in goodies and a rarely even open it. Still, someday I'll re-visit it.
You can assemble complex FX rigs in Mixbox that are on a par with these "multi-FX" apps. None you listed are traditional studio devices and that's what MixBox CS is a collection. Traditional Studio Hardware Rack Unit for mixing/mastering from a console.
I'm slowly getting there. I read about a new FX and watch the demo's and think... I'd rarely use it.
But I'm slowing done in general due to other distractions in my life.
Watch Prince's estate exceed that in a few years, if the rumours about the size of his legendary vault are anywhere near true.
But the more from these two the better, so I'm fine with that.
I'm sure the vault is large but not sure how good the material might be. Prince was smart - he released his best work as he recorded it.
I read a book a few years ago about his recording during 1999/Purple Rain times and he seemed to be recording almost every day. Lots of tracks were recorded over and over with different approaches (like "Erotic City"). And he'd crank up the drum machine and just jam stuff over the beat trying to come up with something he likes. And it was all recorded and catalogued as "songs", even if it wasn't much more than goofing around. Talented goofing, I'll grant you.
I imagine he would have lots of live shows on tape as well.

It’s crazy that we’re debating the value of an app that sells for $300 on the desktop and is considered tremendous value for money at that price in just about every review you’ll read. There’s a reason that many iOS audio apps end up withering in the corner and that’s that the designer under priced his creation and couldn’t make a living from his passion.
I’m no fan of IK Multimedia on many levels. But when they make a good product I’ll happily buy it.

You’ll also note in the reviews I’ve picked they’ve all mentioned the warts as well as the glories so it’s not as if they’re PR puff pieces. Sure, you most likely already have FX that cover the same bases, but tell me, on iOS does Shimmer, Blackhole and Alteza sound the same. And not any of them sound the same as Valhalla Shimmer, the desktop plugin that imspired most of the iOS versions (the Eventide Blackhole pedal has probably been around longer, but Valhalla Shimmer is considered the benchmark by most).
Fine, if you don’t have the budget for MixBox but that doesn’t take away from what a great collection it is. Many of us here on the Audiobus forum paid more for the Fabfilter collection when that’s been on discount and that provides far less variety.
Digital signal processing is just as much a dark art as analog audio hardware engineering and as long as there are talented engineers creating audio processing plugins we’re going to benefit from a variety of sonic personalities. And seeing as IK Multimedia have never released their pinicle processing plugin collection on iOS (T-Racks), Mixbox is the first time iOS users are getting access to many of their classic modules such as the compressors.
Mixbox is just first class software.
Could be even considered essential.

Agreed, another candidate that I've grown to like lately is ToneStack PRO (with IAP) from Yonac...
...it's also universal. The speaker/cab emulations alone are worth it for me for synths and stuff.

I doubt you’ll regret it - just being able to use a Black 76 plus White 2A on vocals has made me very happy and that’s barely scratching the surface!

The main issue for me with mixbox isn't even the price. It's the amount of storage I need. 😂
There should be a vector or lofi UI version - at the loss of those pretty visuals
MicSwap doesn’t seem to support selection of the source mic which is less than useful? (That said maybe have good enough mics here an AT4033a and a just-acquired SE V7)
I just got it for Mac 2 weeks ago in the group buy, I really like mixbox. I’m not going to get it for iOS because I don’t use iOS for mixing enough to make it worthwhile, but for anyone considering it, it is great. I especially like the ambience module, that is quickly becoming a staple for me in my mixing template.
That’s why a new Yonac release, with the highest tier of options on day 1 is always a must buy for me.
Mapping Tonal Harmony Pro is $7 off down to $12.99 - not sure if it’s a sale or they added IAPs, since I’m not familiar with this particular app.

How is MixBox on cpu? Especially in AUM or in general. I’m trying to decide on the purchase but my iPad is getting up there in both age and storage. I have the room, but I’m pushing my iPad to the brink more often then not.
