@AlexY The Digistix in app sounds are just ok. However when add in your own velocity layered samples that’s when the magic happens.
Thanks for this!
I bought it (ATL after all) and played a bit with it. Definitely in the direction of I am looking for! I wish there was something for iOS that's similar to Addictive Drums, but this is definitely close. I need to Learn to humanize it a bit, but overall great purchase, I'm quite impressed, actually.
Any recommendations for available libraries to import?
Since Audiolayer is on sale and Bleass Samplewhizz 2 on an intro price.
Which one would be the better buy for a more creative workflow? (I don’t plan to have huge sample libraries)
If you already have FRMS, then go for Audiolayer... if not... these are very different apps, so it's really up to you to know what you need the most 😁
Ah yeah I have FRMS😁
I guess i will go for Audiolayer then.
It’s not a straight import you have to manually drag and drop each layer in. You can do 5 per pad, so I create a folder and build the kit with the samples I want, then drag and drop in standalone … let me look a second for a few more

Nice! Thanks for these, you're seriously a hero. I'll check them out!
There’s a handful or so that I can not find available working links. Sorry about that.
You can always search: Velocity Layered Drum Kits, or Multilayered Drum kits, or Free Multi Drum Samples, or Multisampled Drum Kits, or any combination of those words and you will find lots of them.
Some free stuff from Ableton. The hybrid drums has velocity layers.

Lots of Samples from Mars Packs have velocity layered hits too.

Not everyone is in Yankeeland. In fact, most of the world isn't.
Well if we’re going to pick the currency used in the highest number of countries it should be the Euro. But most people know the USD conversion rate to their own currency. Except that app store prices seem to be based on completely arbitrary exchange rates.
