It’s really cool for visualising the flow of a music rig.

Yeah... this kind of stuff helps a lot. I was trying to figure out my stuff and used something similar to this

It's even good to identify what you may be missing in your workflow

What’s the one that you’re using?
Does it snap to grid and does it import your own images?

There’s only one Pixelmator that I know of. (I may have bought the full version a long time ago, as I don’t see any IAPs or any kind of “Pro version” path.)

Works in any browser, just double checked on my iPhone. I use it for work and I like it a lot. Can also be built collaboratively. Like the Google docs for diagrams.

    Thanks for confirming that.
It’ll come in handy in the near future.

Sorry for not replying earlier. And good to know it works in iOS too... I only edit on my PC

There are two apps by ‘Pixelmator Team’, one is a photo editor called,
‘Pixelmator Photo : Pro Editor’, and ‘Pixelmator’, the app you have.
I have the former rather than the latter hence my reference
to it though the nomenclature wasn’t precise.

Thanks @Obo just bought Breaktweaker with a free gift from Plugin Boutique. I got audiodamage’s dubstation 2 as a gift which I would have happily paid a tenner for. Great!

Nice! I chose the same free gift. I agree, it’s worth a few bucks and there are times it will get used. Really digging “Outer Space” and also Alborosie Dub Station by AudioThing lately for these kind of effects - picked up a bundle package with a bunch of their plugins a couple of months back and it’s been money well spent! As a result, haven’t really played with Dubstation a lot but I do believe it has some unique sounds and it’s likely a little gentler on the CPU!

Regarding Breaktweaker I actually had a very quick DM chat on Twitter this weekend with BT who is the artist that was apparently the idea man behind Breaktweaker. I had one of his albums way back in the late 90’s and at the time, it was pretty solid in my opinion (actually went back and listened to it a couple of days ago and the sound design still holds up really well, he was ahead of his time for sure). Anyway, this fella hasn’t crossed my mind in at least 20 years, probably more like 30. Then earlier this month, I came across his sample pack on Splice (which is impressive!) and then came across the Breaktweaker sale, realized he was the guy behind that. Just strange how the world works sometimes - haven’t thought about him in 30 years and then twice in a matter of days, he comes up randomly. I figured I’d better see what else he has going on - so I hit him up - super nice guy (I didn’t tell him we picked up Breaktweaker for $9.99 - shhhh! LOL!)

Dub Station is my most-used iOS delay, and I have a ton of them.

So I’ve had the second two in your list for some time, as well as Spacecraft which is my go to if I want to do granular, but TC-11 I’ve never seen or heard of before... and it looks pretty damn amazing!

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tc-11/id488577050

    Worth the 25 clams?

Don’t own it myself but Leo has just started a tutorial series on it

I know, it’s crazy, these 7.99s and 12.99s add up quick. That’s why if they’re 20 bucks or more, I really need to consider whether it’s something I need or not. Not to mention I’m out of space as it is on my Pro 11 (64GB)

These obscure apps sometimes I’ll buy for 20 - 30 bucks and they’ll just sit there taking up space, never getting used. Wotja is a good example. Borderlands... I think I’ve tried it once?

My biggest outlay for an almost never used app is Soup Granular by Strange Agency (thankfully had a gift card but still used a huge chunk of it on this one app, which I barely touch - I should take the time to get to know it really!), can’t remember how much it cost (£30? £38?) bit it was a fair whack!

  • Maybe it’s a glitch but all Moog apps are now free in the Aussie App Store

They’re either testing some new strategy for selling the in-app purchases by making the apps free… or they are having a major pricing malfunction.

Same in UK store right now.

  • And by the way, Moog’s bundle pricing makes no sense whatsoever. I have 3 of their 4 apps. Just look at this:

They may have been on sale. I bought them as soon as they went up for sale on the App Store some time ago.
