There are definitely a wide variety of apps the can be used, not only to make music, but to accomplish all the things that go with it… pics, videos, notes, lyrics, creativity, productivity, utilities, even business tools, etc… I could go on but I think I made my point, glad to hear the posts are helping. These look cool, can anyone attest to how well they work? Do they play well with other apps?
They are a different type of app, compared to others. I’ve gotten a few of them free over the years and i never quite loved them, some people like them, but they are rather large in size. Basically it’s a lot of loops in a specific genre, and you arrange a song. Starting with the chord progression, the drum patterns, etc.. check out some of the App Store videos, and YouTube videos to get a better idea.
They don’t really play well with others. I think some are IAA, but for the most part a closed system. I think you can export and copy audio to other apps though.
@ambrosiajam The ones I have work well enough. They're essentially a collection of loops you can use to construct pieces of varying length -- from 1 bar of 1 instrument to a full track with all the instruments. You can copy/paste or export/import into other apps. Just beware they use a lot of space. See this website for more info - https://www.sessionband.net
Yea, I think they are definitely worth $2, if you have some space to spare. Heck for $2 just try one. All the loops included are royalty free so you can use them in whatever however you want.
They don't connect or sync to other apps. You can start them playing manually and play along or export audio to import into another app. The playing is first rate, but be aware that unlike something like iReal (which doesn't use loops), there won't be variations each time through the progression.

Not very. That's not their point, either. Think of them instead as collections of really professionally made audio loops recorded by top session musicians. You can listen to long audio samples on the website. If you find a genre that you like, or like the drums, they are well worth the current promo price imho.
My go to delay. If you don’t have it yet I recommend it.
I’ll scoop up a few. I guess it would just be nice if I could run drum tracks or something in AUM to apply effects to and jam along with, but I suppose that could be accomplished relatively pain free using the file player or something
Not really. They can connect via IAA audio, but without any syncing I can find it's difficult to get them in time. I've found it best to record out loops which I use in other apps e.g. SECTOR.
How is does it compare to the delay in Bleass Motion FX ?
Oh not sure actually. I have motion fx but haven’t used it much yet.
It’s just so quick and easy on a touch interface like all BLEASS apps
Motion FXs maximum delay time is 50 ms. It's more some kind of special fx. I bought Bleass Delay a few hours ago and it's a full blown delay with a frequency shifter and way more control than the Motion fx one. Great sound and beautiful gui made for touch.
You can’t go wrong… buying a Bleass app.
