Not too difficult actually, it has a few annoying bugs that aren't fixed yet and tbh, I'm doing more and more inside Drambo.
In fact I purchased it because of the nicer UI elements and I hope I'll get more use out of it soon...
The number of patchstorage uploads tell me something about its user-friendliness.
I'm on the edge about buying this for the UI as well but I suspect is not as deep as the things we can do with Drambo. What do you think about designing interfaces for Drambo patches in TouchOSC?
If it had to be a separate, non-AUv3 app then my choice would still be Lemur.
As an AUv3, so far I've come to prefer Drambo's switches, sliders, knobs and buttons over NuRack, connecting and routing between modules is so much faster in Drambo too.
Editing is limited in NuRack as well, widget placement isn't completely free like in Lemur and the concept feels half-baked somehow.
That's my experience with it so far. It looks great on the surface but it gets in your way if you want to be more creative with your designs.
Yea I think you make some good points…

All KORG APPS 50% OFF….
All KORG apps on sale
Thanks for that, confirms my feelings about it. Any insights about Drambo development that is focused in the UI? I would love to be able to zoom or maximize racks and modules.
I believe TH-U is discounted as well. After the update yesterday I went to the store and were surprised on the prices. No announcements. Pardon me, if mentioned already.

I been putting off getting gadget for a long time but I make a lot of downtempo shnthwave and can see it being beneficial. I have bm3, nanostudio, AUM, cubasis. I mainly use AUM and cubasis. I realize I have a lot of daws… but does gadget over me anything these don’t?
Yeah, the full pack is down to 79.99 and some rigs are up to 50 percent off. Individual components within the full pack are not on sale, and many of the THU rigs aren’t on sale at all either, so be careful in your selections.
Not necessarily. Just the synths and drum machines included. It’s more of a closed system. It does have one gadget that does midi out, and gadget app is IAA. As much as I love gadget, and used it, I eventually out grew it, and only open it up sporadically to mix things up. Since you have all those DAW’s and AUM, you don’t need it. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great app, super fun, intuitive, cool features. Lots of great gadgets (synths/drum machines/guitar&bass&vox fx modules) too. There’s also lots of IAPs, which aren’t needed, but a few of the IAPs are the best ones. If you have $20 to blow… you could spend in a lot of worse places, it would not be a bad purchase, but it doesn’t sound like you really need this app, based on your current list.
Not exactly zoom but yes, there's something in the works that will let you reduce the number of controls without sacrificing functionality.
What would you want zoom for? Larger controls that are easier to operate when in a hurry?
It doesn't distract your attention by offering a thousand technical options not really related to making music.
I have adhd, so the more options the better tbh. Each one does something different. However I haven’t touched bm3 of nanostudio in literal months.
That’s exciting! yes, I’ve been using drambo mostly to build effects units (those buffer modules are 🔥) and sequencers for the microfreak and nts-1, but they tend to be looong and unwieldy. Even as i’ve become better in designing macro controls and collapsing modules, I still find the knobs too small and imprecise to be used when jamming. I think having one full rack on screen that’s double the size would come handy, but I’m sure this has been thought out before.
Drambo does not support midi controller feedback. Do you guys think it will be added at some point?
If you have never used Gadget before, you can try the free version: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/korg-gadget-2-le/id1092332319
It contains only 3 instruments (+2 more if you have a Korg controller), but you'll be able to see if it works for you as a DAW/groovebox
All the Korg stuff is so tempting but without AU support, quite limited. Any news of Korg updating the apps for us AUv3 junkies?
I’m looking in my Korg Module app at IAP’s. Some seem discounted, some do not, but I honestly don’t remember the original prices... Anyone have a better rememberer?
Nobody’s talking about their last « tropical » pack release ? 😉
Not exactly.
It actually says "Up to 50% off on KORG music apps until July 5, 2021."
"Up to" being the key words. This clearly includes the amount "1%".... :-)
I know I know…. but if you look at the prices and the discounts the overwhelming majority are at 50% off. Either way thanks for the correction.
