Just a heads up… today, maybe tomorrow, is last day for a lot of sales going on… Shaper 2 said until the August 1st, some might extend through the weekend but not sure. I do know they will all be ending soon, maybe as soon as midnight tonight. Cheers!

    Shaper 2 sale until tomorrow.

    Bleass FX

    All the Swam Instruments

    Maybe Kai Aras Apps

Having spent more time with Shaper, Mela 2 and DRC I’m getting an all new appreciation for these synths. More possibilities emerging the more I explore each one.

  • Fab Filter ends at midnight.

Love Mela 2, Like DRC, and do you mean Shaper Synth or Shaper 2 FX, it’s actually 2 separate apps, I’m just saying cause I’m on fence about shaper 2 before it goes to $5.99. I have shaper 1, and don’t know if I really need shaper 2 fx

Shaper the synth. I have no experience with Shaper 2 FX. 👀

  • We can see here the difference between naming an app and naming a band 😂

What do you mean? Are you saying there might be issues with the name of my band Gun 'n' Rose?

  • @Poppadocrock
Thanks for all the heads up
    Purchased italizer last night
    Fired it up this morning
It’s great, was on the fence for months, wish I had brought it sooner, so much to discover, didn’t realise I could use it as an fx as well
Many thanks and big up to Kai

Yes sir. I highly recommend OB-XD - For me, I use it all the time, top sounding and top 3 maybe 5 favorite iOS synths. Get all the free banks.

    Check the bundle.

OB is one of my favorite iOS synths, make sure to get all the free banks available. There’s a lot. I think there are on the disco DSP website but I could be mistaken.

OPL is a surprising little gem, lots of presets with a retro synth vibe

Schroeder reverb - simple but useful

Oscilloscope- fun, helps you lean synthesis, and useful for sound design

  • Looks like all Pham Thang apps on sale, although they do move up and down a little.

Maze Rider $1 off at $3.99
    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/maze-rider-auto-leveling/id1521409352

    Bass Leveler $ 1 off at $4.99

Ambient X Room Reverb is $2 off at $3.99

Podcasts AU is $2 off at $3.99

Correction…. OBXD is a definite personal top 3, maybe top 2, because it is light on resources, sounds amazing, has a ton of free banks Available, easy to tinker presets, create presets, good price with bundle. Since purchased maybe 9-12 months ago, I only use a couple apps more then OBXD, and I’m talking AUM, Atom 2. This is a definite must have iOS synth. One small drawback, no keyboard in standalone, however since I use as an Au, 99% of the time and have a couple midi keyboards this doesn’t bother me.

How is that for timing?

  • I’m another fan of OB-Xd; I think it’s an essential iOS synth.

Timing is good but I needed to delete & re-install the app to get the new patches and even then the in Luke's pack all sounds are 'silent'?!

Guess we'll get another update pretty quick :)

Thank you guys just got the Whole ob-xd bundle thingy.

I lusted after all the Oberheim gear in the pages of keyboard magazine when I was a kid

Good call on the reinstall, I couldn’t find them after a cursory look and just assumed they were hidden in one of the banks. I have the same problem with the Luke’s pack.

I'll stay quiet this time around...
...when there was an issue with the OPL I raised my voice on their FB page and it took just a day for a fix to pop...
(Apparently they uploaded the wrong OPL build to the AppStore)

Could be the same deal with OB-XD, I mean all the Luke presets are 'empty' (ie. no parameters set) so it's likely wrong build if this app as well...

Ob had awesom update? Love new logo… they added like 4-5 banks, MIDI CC SUPPORT, HOLY SCHNIKEY’s!

  • MSXII APPS ON SALE

  • Damn I was about to buy chompler because of the sale price, but it’s 1.4 gigs I know there’s lotta great content but I’m getting low on space here.

Is fly tape one or 2 able to be modulated, or toggled via note or cc, say toggling the stutter button or what not?

How much of an improvement is FT2 over FT1? - I have so many tapes and elations but I like how it has a stutter and other features.

  • I had already purchased Chomplr at full price a year or so ago, so I just got the rest of the bundle for $2. Super psyched about that.

  • FourFourty is Free usually $1.99 - tune guitar by ear
