Can you successfully send notes to SoftDrummer from the AUM keyboard to SoftDrummer?
It is clear that my MIDI reaches SoftDrummer because it will trigger all the controls listed on the control page. But MIDI notes never trigger.
@RJB : also, what happens if you choose SoftDrummer as your destination rather than Network Session?
Out of curiosity, what is hosting your network session?
No sound when I use the AUM keyboard, Not sure what you mean about what hosting my network session
Network session at least in iOS 13 requires that a network session is running. Normally, a Mac or Windows machine will start a network session. On iOS, if I am not connecting with a PC, I need to run MIDIFire and have it start up a network session for the Network Session to work.
If sending notes from the AUM keyboard to Network Session doesn’t work but sending the name notes from Rozeta does, something odd is going on.
I am getting MIDI to SoftDrummer and it responds but not to notes for triggering individual drum hits. Is it possible Rozeta is sending one of the notes that triggers SoftDrummer to play a pattern?
What happens if you send fro Rozeta to the Soft Drummer port directly?
@RJB: when i set things up as you have, rozeta doesn’t trigger anything in SoftDrummer. If impress play in AUM, it starts SoftDrummer playing the pattern loaded into SoftDrummer . If I switch to softdrummer and stop playback and switch back to AUM, Rozeta is happilynsending notes but no send comes from SoftDrummer.
I always clears out the notes in Soft Drummer’s sequencer so I can see if any midi is tripping the drums. I don’t get it, sometimes is broken in all of his apps when it comes to midi.
It might introduce other niggles but an update to AUv3 format would pretty much solve all of the MIDI woes in one swoop... Let the host do the legwork.

If you start it running and go back to SoftDrummer and press stop, does Rozeta continue to trigger?
Also, can you see if you actually need Network Session by routing just to the Soft Drummer virtual midi port?
Is anyone else able to trigger individual notes in Soft Drummer. I am on iOS 13.7.

All I’ve ever been able to do with SOME of his apps are get them the start/stop or start with a fill by using these two keys in the AUM app:
If he could find a way to play individual drums and sybals, then I would give his drum apps 5-star ratings.
If he would find a way to make iBassist play nice in AUM with all of his drum apps, I would campaign tirelessly for him to become President!
This is currently half price btw - as usual with these sales, likely only a flash sale. I don't have it so am not vouching for it but thought it worth mentioning 👍
Was reading through the thread. Are there still major hassles sending midi out from this? And is there currently any way to choose whether or not reversed notes occur, or how many?
At 1/2 price it is well worth it.. little issues.. But I’m pretty sure he will get to it.. FD is definitely one of the ace Drummers in his set… No hassle sending out midi.. just seems to only send out on ch,1 (as I can recollect).. work-around is no biggie..
Hi all! I noticed an issue with exporting audio in future drummer. The resulting files sound a bit higher in pitch and somewhat shorter than the actual live audio from the app. It happens in both separate tracks and full mix options. Does anyone noticed this issue or am I doing something wrong?
This sounds like it could be sample rate related. What sample rate is your device running at? What OS and hardware are you using?
I'm using ipad. both exporting and listening. Can you even change these type of settings in it or in the actual app?

I play pattern in the app, then export it to files app on ipad, play it in the files app and it sounds thinner and higher in pitch. Tried it on different ipad, 5th generation ipad pro.
Same thing.
Did not anyone get this issue?
