Scroll down to where it says "AWARDS PAID"....I don't trust vaccines

So your chance of being injured (not necessarily killed) by a vaccine is roughly one in a million based on this? Wonder what it is for COVID-19...

    Excellent.

  • Well, got the shot seven hours ago. So far no problem. Arm’s not even sore. And I always thought I was one in a million.

  • Moderna 1st shot yesterday. Low grade fever, mild headache and some body pains. I tried to sleep through the fevers and that generally helps let my immune system do it's work faster.

I'm looking forward to getting out in about 6-8 weeks and seeing that grandchild again.

I'm about 36 hours in from the J&J shot, tired and flu-ish. My fever peaked at about 102° at about 28 hours. I'm taking this as a sign that my body does not like covid and I'm happy I don't have it for real.

102° is a pretty severe reaction.

102F may be unpleasant but it is not a severe reaction. A fever of 102F isn't life-threatening. While most people are not having fevers that high they are not super rare either -- and they are short-lived.

  • AZ 1st jab uk, felt wiped out next day but fine after that.

Wife and I had both shots of Moderna and we’re finally happy that Bill Gates knows where we are at all times. 😂

But seriously, i just had a really sore arm for two days after the first shot and nothing major the second time around. Wife is invincible (ya know child birth and all—real pain) and only felt a little soreness in her arm.

Enjoy the lessening of anxiety @LinearLineman and enjoy music making 🙏🏼💕 i read on the internet that the vaccine will also help with music composing and other worldly sound production...🤔😉

Going to get my first shot tomorrow. I wasn't in a particular hurry to get it, but I'm glad I don't need to think about it anymore. Also just bought a UAD Apollo 8x though, does this mean I need to buy something else tomorrow? :)

Congrats! Hopefully you'll have just enough side effects to know it's working but not enough to be annoying.

Yeah, it's not even high enough to write a good Neil Young song.

My fever is mostly gone now and I only feel a little bit groggy and useless. Keep in mind that I had the single dose vaccine. So, my side effects were more like what people experience with the second shot. Also, there is an outside possibility that I had Covid last January. That's supposed to make the reactions a bit worse in some people. Anyway, the side effects weren't anything more than a little annoying -- certainly shouldn't be taken as anything to put someone off from getting the shot.

  • 320 lakhs people ( 45+) already got vaccinated ( mostly covishield) here in India. First day get mild fever & tiredness then second day have headache. That’s all ..

  • Thanks, @echoopera. I never had much anxiety over getting Covid. Me and the gf became total hermits. But happy to take my place in the herd. It was a marvel to see those couple of milliliters goin in my arm... all the brains and immense productivity. It cost billions but for me and everyone else it’s free. And all done in a year. The species has some redeeming qualities once in a while.

  • I don't have the bandwidth to moderate this thread for misinformation and antagonism, so just closing it now - sorry folks.
