  • I don’t see a FAC folder. What am I missing?

  • Did this but still nothing showing in the app?

  • @Emanresu

FAC Alteeza is my go-to reverb. Thanks very much for these. You have too much time on your hands. :)

I saved the zip file & I unzipped it. It took a few seconds before they showed in the folder but they were there.

Selected the folder with the individual 1117 presets.

Chose Select All and chose MOVE to send the files into the import folder located inside the FAC Alteeza folder "On My Device".

Opened the stand alone & they were there. Opened the AU in AUM & they are there too.

    Hope that helps.

    Some interesting FX.

    Cheers!

  • Hold up, did you accidentally add an extra 1 in there or is it really 1117 presets? That sounds like a preset management nightmare, but in the best way possible. Thanks for sharing @Emanresu

  • The best reverb on iOS by far! Thanks for sharing @Emanresu

I assume that folder appear after very first opening standalone app

    Hi!. Thanks for this.
I’m confused about the preset names. What do the names have to do with the sounds or characteristics?.
Say “EDM Kick 149” does it have anything to do with a kick?. I don’t understand.

  • How could there possibly be over A THOUSAND presets for this reverb app????

I created presets for specific sounds / instruments. EDM kick means that for this type of sound (typical in EDM) a specific preset (in this case number 149) gives interesting result for me. But you can try apply effect to any other sounds there are no clear rules here

  • Wow. Thank you!!! Will try installing tomorrow!

  • I also note that most effects can be applied to entire mix for creative perfomances

  • So are you like, OCD

  • Dude that’sa lot of presets!!!
Thanks for sharing these i live alteza!
Going to give ‘em a try asap!!!

  • I’m going to use one a day for the next three years.

Jokes aside. Thank you for these! 👍

Haha crazy that its actually possible

  • Thanks again for the presets. I got them all in but it’s really odd how they are all out of order inside the app, as an Au, in AUM. But in the AUM preset browser they are all in perfect order. Is this something with the preset system in Alteza?

I can’t remember, I’ll have to look. However Alteza was updated so all the presets are now in order.

I’m pretty sure I did it all in the files app. I think I moved zip into - Files -> on my iPad -> Alteza -> FAc Presets-> import. Then unzipped, and moved actual zip file out.

Might have drag and dropped zip file into Au preset bar.

I’m not sure though, it’s been awhile, sorry can’t remember, hopefully someone else can chime in…

  • Hi,
I haven’t checked these out yet, but a tip that may work for those that can’t see the presets - & this sometimes works for other apps too - is to save at least 1 of your own presets in the app/au 1st - This sometimes lets you see newer presets

    HTH, cheers! 😺

My My iPad>Alteza folder stays empty even when I export or save a preset, in both standalone and from AUM.
I exported one and imported it, no problem. But for some reason, when I tried to import the file from @gdog , I get this message:

I've tried uncompressing it (all good) and compressing it again in the iPad, but I got the same results.

    same here

  • I ran a search and could not find a manual on how to import presets for Alteza, so…

  • Yeah, not working either way for me either 😕

  • anyone tried the presets? +1000 presets sounds impressive but you know - quality and quantity not always goes in pairs

  • edited August 2022

Isn’t it quicker to dial in the sound you want than rummaging through 1000 presets, albeit with possibly helpful names?

I mean no disrespect to the preset author but most people (I suggest) don’t use presets for effects in this way - they dial in the sound they want to work for the mix in question and let the DAW save the settings for them. Does working DAWless make this different? I don’t know.

Fred just posted it on Twitter hold up… @EdGG @mcevoak0252

They aren’t are stunners but there’s still a lot of good ones, some different and unusual too.
