iphone app screen spacing
I have read online that some apps do good on the iphone but some just don't fit very good on the smaller screen. So I have bee3n doing some research. It has been a good longtime since I have done any music apps with apple and such. I don't remember all the best apps. I need things like audioshare and I have always wanted to learn BM3 vut not sure how effective it would work on an iphone....
, so for those of you who have an iphone does BM3 have a decent workflow on the smaller screen of an iphone??
Comments
I don’t think there is an iPhone version of BM3
I believe this was an update that the developer mentioned implementing at some point but there wasn’t any timetable.
Dang! You are correct. What would be a good alternative for the iphone?
Have you really?
Please don’t open a new discussion for every question you have. This one could’ve been added to one of your previous ones...
Plus they belong in support and feedback
my apologies
Hey, no worries - ask away if you have questions, but would be good to consolidate them into one thread.
with all this mention of nano studio with no audio that counts this one out so now its either fl studio or audioevolution
with audio evolution and fl studio can i import audio? can i record with external instruments? and what would i use for using external instruments for recording?
isw audiobus what i need to link my external instrumnts?
I think I have fallen in love with beathawk but i it possible to make complete tracks with it?
Depends on what you mean. I made a complete song in it in a rush a long time ago. The song mode is pretty fun and creatively inspiring. But it's more of a way of stringing patterns and pattern variations together, not like a real DAW timeline arranger.
Not my best work, but passable I guess.
Don't forget Cubasis 3 and Zenbeats. The are also fairly full featured DAWs, and workable on the phone if you ask me.
apparently dropbox is dead so i dont know how to get my files into audioshare?
I see an icloud way but i cloud requires files to be zipped but how are my files usable if they are zipped?
What do you mean by "dead"? And what are you trying to transfer from? A PC, a Mac? Are the files only in Dropbox or can you access them from another device somewhere?
pc, my files are not in dropbox as of yet, but that is what i used in the past and yes dropbox is no more, their website is dead
If iCloud doesn't suit you, you could try Google Drive, MS OneDrive, or Box.
You are 1005 wrong about this. Dropbox is alive as it has ever been.
From a PC you can transfer files into AudioShare using its built-in FTP server. Just start it up, follow the instructions, and you can copy files from your PC into AudioShare without any further hassle.
If you know how to do it, you can also set up a share folder on Windows, then access that from the files app. You don't sound like you have a lot of technical know-how so maybe that's not a good option.
Maybe you should check to be sure you haven’t made a typo in the URL?
I got all my samples on iCloud and put upon AudioShare so now what to do next...being fairly new to this stuff now I have my samples and all do all these apps allow wav import into the apps?
Are you working on a video series, or maybe a Patreon? I can see it now, "How to Get Started in iOS Music."
I’m just trying to learn how to produce hip pop/techno on my iPhone. I’m just a confused mess lol
Use Nanostudio. Or maybe Gadget. They’re amazing for hip hop and techno.
Once you get stuck with one of those, (maybe when you need to capture long vocal tracks?) ask your more specific questions here.
Or, just learn ZenBeats. It can do it all. It’s just clunkier in workflow than NS2 and Gadget (for me anyway). Certainly not as clunky as the machines hip hop and techno were made on for their first 20-25+ years though.
Dilla would prolly shit his pants to have access to any of these. Especially at pennies on the 90s MPC dollar!
Just about any app that uses samples can import audio. It’s hard to answer general questions like this without knowing what app you’re talking about. Maybe pick one and ask questions about anything specific you get stuck on.
what is very disturbing to me is the fact that not all apps are audiobus friendly...Why would any developer not wants this with their apps....for instance ielectribe wave .....for those thaat us ielectribe wave this app does it all if only i could combine it with things like animoog would make it ideal
can I please get some recommendations for the best app that has the best drum machine? Whether it be an independent or drum machine or one that is inside of another app, it does not matter.....so specifically i need a daw, I'm thinking cubasis then i need a variety of synths which I'm going to get animoog, model D, sunrizer and I also need a good synth that will give me a variety of bass sounds for for techno tracks.....so indeed I need a DAW, synth, bass, another for weird odd type sounds for techno. I also need something for dark odd type sounds. Dead air type sounds if you will. I do a variety of techno, deep house type stuff. I'm starting from scratch. I'm trying to explain in specifics but it is difficult to explain the sounds and the visions that i have deep inside of my head. I have been producing music for over 20 years and making the switch ios because of the quality and the flexibility anfd the ability to keep up with technology. In this past year I have dumped everything into this new business im starting with limited funds so im starting with my new iphone and soon hopefully will be moving to an ipad.As requested I tried to be more specific with my needs and I hope I have done just that
In what ways are you finding iElectribe Wave not Audiobus friendly?
What are some of the things you're looking for in a drum machine? There are so many to choose from it's hard to say what is best without knowing some of the important features you're looking for.
