You guys are great! It’s nice to see a developer willing to listen to its customers and work with them. I’m sure you have lots of other things to do, but thank you for fixing this! Really appreciated!
singing and danceing this time
❤️
Congrats and thanks for your efforts/skills and listening to us and our issues -
was checking both new versions - and I can confirm the improvement for my device - IPAD Pro 12,9 2017:
Model D - 3 instances running perfectly fine - no more crackles while opening/closing the UI
Model 15 - 2 instances running perfectly fine - no more crackles while opening/closing the UI
So yes, thanks for this!
@MoogMusicInc It looks like your team has solved the problem. I got around the 50% with 3 instances. Good work, thank you!
Finding this also. When running in a project, dsp only increases by about 10%. Obviously will vary and depends on various factors but seems to be a big improvement on first glance 👍🏻
This is so great to hear, thanks for all the positive reports! We've now made these updates public on the App Store.
❤️ your friends at Moog
Thanks, Moogsters!
After updating today, no AUV3 Moog Model D shown in AUM or Drambo. IPad Air4 256 Gb latest iOS 14.4.2. I‘m in trouble. Big, big trouble. So my Update fails.
Before last Update 9 Instances in AUM before crackles.
After last Update 4 Instances in AUM before crackles.
Fresh new Update 0 Instances in AUM only InterApp starts.
Deinstalled and reinstalled same Result. 🧐
You might want to try uninstalling, force closing all apps, rebooting iPad and then install again with no other apps running.
Now it works well. 🥂 Thankful @MoogMusicInc 👏
🎊🎉 Yay!!! 🎉🎊
Hello Crew, Hello @MoogMusicInc !
I got some troubles with my SL88 keyboard, and I'm little bit late here. Finally, after short try on my 6th gen machine, I checked Model D on my main iPad (Pro 11in 2020), and the results are very good.
All was done with Keystage v.2 as the host, and the DSP use is shown.
Buffer size: 64 samples. Everything stage-use oriented.
Old is 1.3.1 (121), New is 1.3.4 (128)
One instance, on idle: Old 20%, New 17%
Two instances, on action: Old 40%, New 33% (!)
Stress test (6 diverse plugins, including Model D) played at once.
On idle: Old 30%, New 29%
Stress test, on full action (lot of fast notes, maxed polyphony by sustain pedal): Old 54%, New 49%
If the last test was done after use of other, non-musical apps (browser, YT, Eurosport Player, etc), then I got 76%.
All I have on the screenshots, but I have no idea how to show them in small size on the page with possibility to expand them.
Thank you @MoogMusicInc
I repeated this test and got these results (last column is the recent update):
v1.2.12 —> 1.3.3 —> 1.3.4
1: 14-15% —> 44% —> 40%
2: 28-30% —> 41% —> 35-50% (I assume due to CPU throttling)
3: 45-48% —> 46% —> 41%
4: 58-60% —> 63% —> 50%
5: 74-80% —> 77% —> 64%
6: 94-98% —> 93% —> 78%
7: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx —> 89%
Wow. IPadOS is like Windows.
Not at all. There are no reports of a “Blue Screen of Death” on iOS or iPadOS.
Fair point, although in fairness I have never seen one in Windows 10, either.
It’s amazing since I have the 2020 pro and I got the same exactly result. Really better now then 1.3.2✌️
I’ve seen my share of catastrophic Windows failures. LOL.
It’s great now! Thank you @MoogMusicInc !
Working well on my old Air 2 now. Thanks for your efforts :-)
This discussion is one of the best examples of an interaction between developers and users. This forum is priceless. Amazing.
@MoogMusicInc Hi,
Model 15 has a Mac version now. Will model D receive the same treatment?
It’s better than it used to be. Remember when a Windows application would crash and you would be left with a DOS prompt? 😂
Back on topic - thanks to all at Moog for some great work!
Yes!!
Amazing performance, 3 instances on AUM, 60% dsp.
THANK YOU
Model D Version 1.3.7 Build 135
@MoogMusicInc Since the update Model D does no longer respond to CC64 (Sustain Pedal), is this intended, or is this a regression?
Thank you very much for your help.
Let mi ask for some help!
I used to have a SH 101 and I could make a Stutter effect with it, but I seem to have forgotten how, Im trying to reproduce the effect I am looking for in this short video using Turnado.
But I would rather like to replicate it by automating knob twists in Moog model D.
Send a square wave LFO to the synth's volume and/or filter cutoff.
Looking forward to the Model D coming to macOS and going full cross-compatible, like the Model 15 and the Animoog Z.
@Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr Hi buddy. How I do dis?
