It's an extraordinary instrument. These are like the Stradivarius of keyboards.
Man I want one. I preordered it back in 2019 but cancelled the preorder after a while. I want those keys, the sound engine is not something I’m not gonna sit with in front of a computer and create sounds with. So I hope they have a shitload of presets/storage memory onboard, with new packs being released.
Style? I think it looks really cool this way. I don't think it's really much deeper than lots of keyboards but they are usually covered up. I'd guess that any length increase they have is to enable the side-to-side controller motion of the keys.
From the Superbooth video, the new portamento control looks really interesting. I wonder if it could be used to do quarter tone playing.
