    Yonac Steel guitar

Still my all-time favorite music production app. And still waiting for Yonac to figure out how to turn it into an AUv3… somehow.

    Yes, very good-sounding app !
My wish for the future of this app would be to be able to play a chord on my external keyboard then just slide on the iPad surface to move the pitch. I think in the end this would be more useful/convenient than trying to play chords an their variations on the surface.

That’s a great idea. And it would enable them to also do the fast picking that is currently nearly impossible because of the differences between strumming and picking while also attempting to mute skillfully.

I still love Figure (free). You can get some really fun jams going there, and by exporting individual tracks (with focused use of he mute button), you can import the parts into other apps and build some nice tracks on top of a foundation created in Figure.

Thanks for taking the time to explain this! Trying it now!

Also @senhorlampada: great tip on iKaossilator + Figure. Tried that last night and well, you were spot on. ‘Twas epic!

This is rapidly becoming my favorite thread! Well done OP!!!

  • I guess I better add a couple here...

Playground is still one of my favorites. I recommend the Decap map/playground if you like that type of music. There’s really something for everyone. No idea what the pricing model is anymore. I was sour for moment after spending cash on individual maps for them to come out with an all inclusive something or other down the road. Somehow I got it cheapish and I’m glad I did.

Soundforest is fun (my youngest son loves it too, he’s 4)

Blocs Wave and Auxy are also great.
