But we can add more ;) How about a Buttons module with 8 buttons that mutes/unmutes 8 AUM channels. Same for Solo. Now I wonder what is needed to add so that these mute changes always happen on some next quantized boundary?

A bar synced button sending MIDI CC that can be mapped to anything inside AUM:

Hey! Resurrecting kind of an old thread, I know. This thing is so, so, so cool and I love it, and I have been trying my best to figure out Drambo, but how in the world does this work??? I can see the modules and the connections, and I can see that it works, but I just can't get my head around why or what's going on here.

Any chance you could break it down or direct me to a better resource than the Drambo manual for learning things like this?

    Sure!
Indeed, this patch needs some explanation because it relies on a few conventions that aren't obvious by just looking at it.
First, the time signal. The blue clock icon is connected to the time jack on the leftmost track module. It's a steadily rising value that starts from zero when you start playback and repeats from zero when the pattern cycles from the beginning.
The Clock Generator lets you generate pulses from that time signal that are in sync with beats and bars. These pulses drive
    the Sample & Hold module.
0.25 trigs per beat means that one pulse is generated per pattern bar (4/4).
So, when receiving such a pulse, the Sample & Hold will capture whatever signal is at its green signal input for the duration of the short pulse.
In other words, hitting the button "1" will have no effect until the clock generator tells the S&H module to forward the button status to the MIDI CC generator.

    Hope that helps 😉
