Interestingly, in the latest update they mentioned "Improved EQ-PG internal oversampling", so it looks like they have all the pieces in place to add it to more modules. It's a bit of a shame that you can't turn it on and off though.
Thanks for the report Samu.
Funny how I always want to prematurely hit that update button with big Apple updates, but never with Microsoft.
Dam I literally just went 14.8 a couple days ago and now I gotta go again. I’ll do soon but not quite yet.
Anyone notice any older apps not working in iOS 15?
I've been lucky so far. No problems whatsoever in iOS 15. Only problems of note have been on desktop so far and that's probably because the next iteration of macOS comes out in about a month.
Just got this from IK Multimedia in my email:
They're a little bloody late, aren't they? Any developer worth their salt had been working with the iOS 15 beta for months. They would've known about these incompatibilities long before this if they were actually doing the job of a developer. This is a really half-assed job by them.
I've never had a problem in either Ableton or Bitwig with MixBox. Must be a Garageband thing as corruptions aren't something I read about in a variety of forums.
Where Apple might lead in terms of best practices in many areas, Garageband is not the benchmark in the world of DAWs.
That is an understatement in terms of 3rd party app support. Especially on MacOS.
I received an email from IK that some of their software (including Amplitube) are not compatible. However Mixbox is unaffected.
all i know is, i bet Slash is livid right now that his signature Amplitude for iPad isn't officially supported on iOS 15 yet.
And Apple is like ‘welcome to the jungle’
Can we go to the beach instead of our yearly jungle trip please?
.
ipad 11 pro ios15 i am mostly in AUM, using lots of apps, no problem
And I love it

@Samu
Don’t worry @tja they’ll bring it back in iOS 16.
Yeah I think anyone with a trace of a feel for layout would agree that the second layout sucks. Huge horizontal spacing, zero vertical spacing.
What's next someones starts complaining that the icon rows and icons in the dock are not horizontally aligned?!
Extensions on Safari are really cool. Just bought Noir for a dark view, and it’s really good on the eyes.
Bye bye Firefox.
Much less wasted space now compared to 14 etc. If you add a widget then the space becomes more grid like again.
This aversion to a new layout is common when you aren't used to it, it will grow on you
How on earth did MixBox damage files in GarageBand? Its just an effect. Maybe there’s something else going on here?
Anyone else finding that rotating the iPad rearranges your apps? On most pages the left-to-right order is at least preserved, but it seems like chunks are exchanged on my home page...
Bebot now has some spiffy new socks in this update! Lying.
It is possible for an effect to mess up the state saving of a DAW in a limited way. The DAW would ask for the fullStateForDocument from each of the effects and then save this. If that data returned by the effect is corrupt, it could either damage the file saved by the host or mess up the effect when it is reloaded.
I'm not saying that is happening here, just that it could happen.
+1
I'm also liking the Applibrary that finally organizes apps based on the AppStore category and search is fast.
No need to have redundant AUv3 app icons cluttering the home screens in folders after folders after folders.
Digging the 3 dot menu as well, just wish more apps where 'split screen ready'.
My 'app cleanup' resulted in 300 apps left on my iPad Air 2 and I don't miss any of those that got deleted...
(Started with over 650 apps so it took a while to clean up and keep the 'cream of the crop').
Over all I'm very happy with iPadOS15.
On the iPhone there is one 'visual glitch' and that's the 'iPhone Almost out of storage' notification even though I have +25GB free.
Cheers!
Isn't this how it behaved in ipados 13 (or maybe earlier), i.e. adjusting the number of apps per row based on the orientation?
Edit: never mind, now I see it, eek
