Catchy! Love it, mate!
Cool Track. I dabbled in 8-bit a year ago. Need to do that some more. Super fun.
I must admit I saw the theead yesterday and decided to get in on some tracker fun. Got deflemask and about to get either Sidtracker or Moby Chip
@Thepixelproducers yes!
@oat_phipps if you get Moby Chip let us know how you like it - and if it works on ios15 (if you use that).
Nice!
To paraphrase the great George Clinton, does dip go with that chip?
@senhorlampada @TheAudioDabbler @oat_phipps @Proppa @Lady_App_titude
Thanks for listening ! Really appreciate the comments. 😊
Day #2
This one was done completely in GarageBand. You can get some great chiptune sounds with a few tweaks to the stock sounds.
Keep em coming @Thepixelproducers - good bit stuff!
Day #3
Went back to GarageBand for today’s jam. 8 tracks of chippy goodness. 👾🎧
Liked day3 the best, but all fun.
Keep keepin chip lit 🔥
Im not on 15 yet but Moby Chip is a modern take on chip and IMHO a masterpiece in of its kind
I may still get it then, I had forgotten I had erik sigth’s sinusoid until he released his new app and figured I had enough and should stop buying trinkets for a bit, but Moby’s sequencer does look more appealing than the classic tracker. Something about the vertical scrolling doesn’t seem right to me. It’s very disorienting.
Indeed. The vertical is something I've adapted to (for SunVox and Renoise) but Moby Chip sidesteps (no pun intended) the whole rethink, and is much easier to get into. And the chipsound programming is pretty deep.
I thought @Samu might check in on this thread, he is one of our chip mavens…curious to hear his notes (again no pun intended)

Well, I prefer to spend time do beta on apps I really love...

(When the Drambo update drops it will be EPIC).
Not being a composer I just mess with sounds from time to time and make sure it doesn't crash
Thanks for those tasty notes!
Thanks for listening @LinearLineman
Day # 4
Switched over to NanoStudio 2 for this one. Some great usable chiptune sounds using just presets. I keep forgetting just how versatile Obsidian is. Enjoy !
Trippy and glitchy. I like it. Good job. 👍🏾
Day #5
Back to NanoStudio 2 👾
Thank you, I'm a fan of your day 3!

Day # 7
Decided to play around in Groovebox for this one. I always underestimate how quickly you can get ideas going in this app. It’s great.

Dipping into Korg Gadget waters.
Day #9
Quick little late night jam in Groovebox.
Day #10
There are a some pretty interesting chippy samples in Blocs Wave. Having some fun here playing with the slicing feature.
Day #11
Back to Gadget for today.
Day #12
Picking up the pace a bit today in GarageBand.
