Also, it seems like Nils is the only one of his not to get AUv3 treatment? Maybe I’m misremembering, but I thought he covered them all.

Nils and my fave frekvens both are AU - I'm sure the others are too. ALL ARE WORTH getting.

Wait, really? I thought Nils was only Audiobus-compatible

  • bought. sounds amazing

  • is it worth a buy?

  • @Pxlhg I also needed to save (and supply preset name) as it didn‘t show upin the preset browser - i imported your preset via files app and share.

Perhaps the dev adds better import support (ie directly saving with the given name and support for zip import with several presets in one go) in a future update. And since there is no space for a prev/next preset button, sliding left/right on the preset browser icon could be another ‚hidden feature’ to change presets.

  • @gkillmaster i guess it depends on what kind of music you make, but for 5$ absolutely. i would have paid more. its very cool.

Hear for yourself. Gav has a 5 minute demo:

This is awesome and I love the theme and UI design, and how it feels like playing a video game a little bit. This is THE perfect app for getting that classic vhs tape instability.

Finally, a post from you that I'm 100% in agreement with. ;)

Love all his apps. They all feel like little sound games and are so much fun to explore. I kinda like that how to use them isn't entirely clear or intuitive. It's kinda fun just figuring them out like a fun sound puzzle.

  • I love all of Erik's plugins but this one has really got me jazzed. It's so much more than an ambient drone machine. I like how dirty you can make it sound as well as its shimmering verb effects.

  • Wow. I don’t know what it is but I love it. The backstory and intro seem like an Xbox game. It always takes me a while to figure these types of apps out but that has become part of the pleasure, part of the ‘game’. Tardigrain never disappoints and I can’t wait to pair this up with it.

  • Excellent demo, @Gavinski!

As usual, taking a very complex app and breaking it down to it’s most basic elements and features.

Glad to have your YouTube videos back as well. Haven’t had a chance to play catch-up yet, but I’m certain that when I do I well be rewarded greatly!

  • A little experiment with Rymdigare

  • ❤️❤️❤️ wow! I bought without even watching any of the videos (cuz… Tardigraine, etc) and just tried it for the first time. Threw it on a simple piano loop and out of the gates it is GORGEOUS. Thank you for this incredible effect.

  • Eric please port all Your apps on desktop too❤️❤️❤️
I feel so lost without them😩

I would love to play with it and share your enthusiasm -

But there seems to be a bug ... at least for me - maybe its related to an older IPadOS -

    I am still on 13.8

Is Erik in the forum or do I have to contact him on other channels?

I reached out to Erik via Email - and he answered right away - and the fix is out already - can confirm that it now works perfectly as an AUV3 - also on older IOS versions ,,

so yes, thanks for the quick response and the great app - a very inspiring piece of software!

    Sunday morning playfulness, very good.

EDIT: And fuck yeah as regards simple piano loops....

  • Hey... Am I missing something? Is there any indication of what patch is loaded? My feeble brain has trouble remembering where I was in the patch list. :p Especially after getting carried away exploring a patch for 10 minutes. Anyway it would be awesome if there was a little dot next to the currently loaded patch in the patchlist.

Man this app is a joy though....

Ah I'm not the only one! I would LOVE to have this on desktop. This thing rocks.

Great demo! Thanks for stepping through some of the presets. Cool to hear it against the drums too.

    +1

  • This is so much fun, a great blend of playfulness, depth and a UX with personality.

  • This plugin is Art by itself.. and sounds brilliant!
So difficult to keep playing my guitar and paying attention to their conversation 😆
    Love it!

  • Just spent 30 minutes running Ripplemaker through it…I could do this all night and not get bored!

  • Ooh, thank for pointing out, I'll have a gleek! Absolutely LOVING this app, such amazing results with so little learning curve and yet endless space for exploration
