The new sounds are totally worth it. Sounds fantastic!
Indeed! It's also a great way to support it!
bought it during sale. wow cant believe this slipped... nice sounds. don't know about the expansion though. waiting for some samples. definitely recommended!
One of the most instantly gratifying apps ever.
I really dig the sounds in this app! Bought the expansion pack too. No regrets at all. Great app!
Yes can’t recommend enough great new expansion pack.
And the reverb is delicious!
This app is one of my absolute favorites. Just really lovely sounds, but probably the best thing about it is that it’s curated to fill a specific “vibe”. Unlike those synths that try to fill every posible sound, this is rather specific. Chimes, toy stuff, retro strings and synths, clicky stuff. Just wonderful sounds, pick a preset and play.
I just purchased the extension pack and was going through it to add the best presets to my favorites folder. I realized I was adding most of them!. This is not like purchasing a preset pack for some synth, this is more like purchasing sample libraries but perfectly put in place and easy to use.
This is just great 👍
This is exactly what I did! Like 90% of them at least!
A jam using 6 sounds from the new IAP
Very well done! And such a lovable app.
Awesome one @eylvy
Anyone else experiencing the sound dropping out if you return to a project that is using Lo-fi tape? It has happened to me on several projects where I use Lofi tape, work on the song for a while and close the project. When I return, Lofi tape is still loaded as an AUV3 as it should be, but there’s no sound coming out of it. I have to note the preset, unload the plug-in and reload it and reselect the preset.
@lofi_tape @lofi_piano @‘ing you in case you aren’t aware.
Haven’t experienced that yet…fingers crossed 🤞
Is This Still On AppStore I Can’t Find It Can Somebody Confirm If It’s On Or Not
Thanks !!
Not showing up for me either. Been that was for a couple weeks now I think, I’m not sure what happened.
Can’t purchase the expansion right now either.
Damn... I love this app. I hope it comes back.
What?. This is one of my favorite apps. This really sucks.
Now it’s when someone comes and says “you’re not owning the apps, it says on the terms and conditions, bla bla bla 🤮).
It’s ridiculous that you pay for an app, an expansion pack and you just loose it. Bonus points to Apple since it’s the “offload apps to save space” they’ve so intelligently implemented that makes me loose my app and my money.
What?! When i saw this thread had life on it i thought maybe he made a new expansion, not this!
It is one of my most used apps. Does anyone know how to contact the dev?
Ah that sucks man I’m sorry. Just a heads up in case you didn’t know, you can disable that “feature” in the settings. I have it disabled.
Oh, no. @lofi_piano @lofi_tape are two of my favorites.
They should call it “App rental” instead of AppStore. You purchase an app that’s just gone missing, it’s ridiculous.
And I blame Apple for this. A dev has every right to cancel the developer subscription or stop supporting an app due to whatever reasons. But apple takes a cut and I bought the app from apple… If this is the scenario then apple should let devs sell their apps via other places, only then they could discharge the responsibility on the dev.
Remember, you used to be able to make a local backup of all your apps, and Apple then specifically, deliberately removed this functionality. Something to consider if you are ever tempted to pay more than a tenner for any app. Let’s hope the devs behind those expensive piano apps never decide to quit paying the ransom to stay on the AppStore, eh?
That’s frustrating. Seems like we’ve been losing a lot of apps lately. Apple seems hostile towards developers. Welp, I have this app backed up but I guess I’m going to sample all the presets while I have the expansion downloaded still now just in case
Dev also never replied to my email. To bad. This really was a little gem!
Damn. Lo fi piano was kinda crap but lo fi tape was worth the price. Weston usually replied quickly to me. Nice guy really
On another note, I think this might motivate me NOT to buy anything from Apple anymore.
subscriptions are going to destroy it all (and Logic is apples first move at musical monopoly by next year it’ll be just Cubasis left I bet )
I think I’ll keep my iPad with no iOS updates and app updates I’m very happy of what I got. That way I won’t have problem with apps restrictions etc I have an iPad mini 2nd gen with Alchemy And the full library nice and safe updates can not be taken and it works fine !!!!
Finally I CAN NOT OWN WHAT I BOUGHT AND BE HAPPY IT JUST AIN’T OK
Loopy Pro gives you a choice you get to keep what you bought and if you want the new updates you choose to buy or not
Something that apple did not do with Logic Pro I lived a long time with out Logic Pro And I can go without Thank God Cuba's is And Other DAWS Are Around And We Can Make Music I Went Of The Topic A bit But Close to the topic Thank You
Best Wises & Happy Easter
Aw man, I forgot to restore the Lo-Fi tape expansion pack on my new iPad before app was pulled. Have the app, but expansion pack buy/restore isn’t working.
