at least I really hope it does

but since they have a bundle on the mixing plugs this could be similar on the creative plugs (I think they called the desktop bundle also creative bundle)

I don't have any of their Creative plugs (Saturn, Timeless, Volcano), and their modulation section looks interesting. I was looking at Eventide SplitEQ, and found this video about shaping transients using Saturn, but apparently Volcano and Timeless have these options too. Does anyone know how these drag-n-drop modulations work on the iPad plugs?

Yep man. They stated it was an interesting idea. A few hours later they said, they will do it. I think it will be Saturn 2, Timeless 3 and Volcano 3.

I gave in and bought it for iOS. It's far more than it first appears. Also, this release makes it more clear to me that there is no one more capable of using their apps than they are themselves. They should offer FAR MORE presets for users in exchange for getting people to send them their email address or something. I'd love for a couple hundred more specialized presets for specific functions from Fabfilter. My reasoning is simply this: I haven't got the time to learn every fine-grained detail about every app and bit of software I own (and I assume this goes for others also). I need solutions and the more options I have available at my fingertips which are pre-made, the faster I can arrive at a usable sound.

This is basically the Preset Player Manifesto. And you're absolutely right about it. Every music app should come with an abundance of presets, except maybe those weirdo ones that target Knob Tweakers exclusively. 🤷

They enabled the ability to share presets...why don’t we start a thread where we share our best presets or link a thread from the fabfilter forums? Admittedly I haven’t checked, but there’s gotta be a thread out there somewhere lol

Oh, no, I use a ton of them. Nembrini psa1000 and fuzz, ChowTape, Beef, MixBox, barricade, RE-1 tape and more… I really don’t have a reason. I guess I can’t tell it sounds a lot better than the other stuff and the other stuff looks simpler and to the point. But I’m gonna use it more!. I know it’s got all the transient stuff, bands and so on… I guess in a naive and stupid way I relate distortion to pedals with a few knobs.
If I had to choose one “must have” plugin it’d be Pro-Q3 and I really like the FF interfaces but I haven’t found true love in Saturn yet.

Good point, maybe one of our resident knob tweakers like @TimRussell will make a bunch of presets like he did for Timeless 3 (hope I am remembering the name right)
