Is it just me or does it a little battery heavy?
If I share any file from the Files app by long tapping and then tapping share, I get the "share sheet" which has a "More" icon at the end, from which I can select any app:
Only when I share via Airdrop I get the vertical list with limited space that has a "Cancel" option at the end:
I'm curious about how some are getting this second option, maybe it's iOS versions?
Good huh? The testing has been a joy!
+1 Thanx so much Simon, much obliged!
Cheers, ED
They all work - there is a section in the manual about how to import them all into the new app - essentially you Zip up the Animoog folder, then share the sip file to Animoog Z and it imports all the stuff. Note to other Beta Testers - this seems to work great in the release version but not in the last Beta, so uninstall the Beta, import your stuff, and then install the Beta again, everything will still be there because it is in your Animoog Z icloud folder
I think this is my first ever "instant purchase" of any iOS app. I've got my fav developers that I'll almost always buy whatever they create... but I usually at least watch the feedback and a couple videos first. This one was the first I ever bought sight unseen.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think Animoog was the first ever iOS audio app I ever got, and I believe it was briefly free at the time. Like, maybe 8 years ago?
The IAA versions still work great as well. I did buy the iPhone version, but I only got that during one of the black friday sales when it was like a dollar I think.
So, dropping $10 on this bonafide GOAT of the iOS audio world was an absolute no brainer.
Woohoo ! 🥳 love Animoog n this was free 🥰 thanks for the heads up 🤩
I compared a bunch of presets and they all sound the same between the two apps.
What is this video supposed to prove, appart that your Z instance is playing one octave below the original ? 🤔
@bennorland @NoiseFloored I had to delete 23 apps before it would show up as a destination to share the presets to. Once I did that I didn’t have to even select “more.” Didn’t show up in more or the first part of the share sheet until then.
I'm not going to say it again...ok I will
You'll need to delete an app or two in order to make room on the "more" list, it's an iOS issue with the share sheet, not Moogs fault.
No one seems to read threads anymore....
How do I know / decide which apps to delete? This is not very practical.
i just deleted some ones I didn't use, but yes it's an annoying bug. You can always reinstall. It only needed one for me to delete, others more, so not sure what's the issue.
Drag Zip on top of app icon
@Model10000 ahh got it, sorry, I incorrectly assumed this was an issue with the “Open in” list, with which I have had issues in the past
It might actually be fixed in iOS 15 because I'm seeing it ok on there, it was my 12.9 ipad on iOS 14.8 which had the issue.
On iOS 15 here and had purchased the full version and it wasn’t showing up until deleting apps. Screwy way of doing things, but it’s how it is. Maybe try opening multiple instances of the Files app and drag n dropping.
How much storage room do you have on your iPad? That is not normal behavior.
I think you need to unlock the app, also check the version of the old animoog, you need to have the latest version of the old one
Tons. Maybe 150gb. I think it’s a matter of how many apps are installed. “Suggestions” can’t put all apps that have share sheet capability in there at once.
