    I'm worried about animoog being taken off the store. I'm aware Z is a superior upgrade but if I don't want to buy it but I bought animoog, and I switch ipads, now I can't redownload the old app?

    Your animoog z update was free? I already owned animoog for ipad and animoog for iphone and still had to buy animoog z. I'm perfectly fine with that, but why was your animoog z download free?

    @tja I just tried in another iPad with a different account, and the app does show up in the share sheet. I'm curious about @Stuntman_mike's drag and drop solution, but I can't reproduce it

    Yes. I had to delete a good number of Rustik presets which no longer seem to work. Many still do.

    So far only one preset that I randomized and tweaked in Animoog (out of about 20) doesn’t work. All the others I’ve tried have worked.

    I had dozens of Rustik presets which failed to generate any sound. Most of them seemed to be Bass patches.

    Yea. In OG Animoog app, I have a lot of presets but not all of them work because I don’t have all the timbres unlocked from the IAPS. Some presets combine Timbres from the different IAPs and if you don’t have them all, those presets will fail to load correctly, leaving a blank or half loaded preset.

    Does the free version have MPE locked, or is there a button I'm not seeing to activate it? I'm getting pitch bends tied to all channels. Meaning one note can't pitch bend separately from another. Which is.... not MPE. Aftertouch IS working properly with MPE, which is good, but I'm a little worried right now about pitchbends. I don't really have any use for another synth that isn't actually fully MPE

    Individual pitch bends are working for me in the unlocked version, I check on the other iPad without the unlock later if that helps

    Yep! That's why I tried on a device with a different account

    Edit: Another option without zipping the folder: you can go into the Animoog folder, navigate to the single .preset file and share that to Animoog Z instead (if I just tap a .preset file it just opens in Animoog Z automatically)

    There’s a free version with few presets. The $9.99 upgrade to the full version is money well spent.

    So, dropping $10 on this bonafide GOAT of the iOS audio world was an absolute no brainer. :)

    Yeah, I don’t comment on the relative value of money anymore as i know we have diverse perspectives on what is a “fair price” but $10 for this beauty given the track record of Moog seems like as straight a shot as one could take.

    Edit: Another option without zipping the folder: you can go into the Animoog folder, navigate to the single .preset file and share that to Animoog Z instead (if I just tap a .preset file it just opens in Animoog Z automatically)

    It even is shown as the icon of those files, which would directly open the App.

    But I have 24 preset folders and several hundred of presets.

    Only hope is @MoogMusicInc to add some "import zip" option.

    Animoog Z already imports from a ZIP… maybe you should communicate directly with Moog because these problems should not be happening.

    This seems to be a problem with the share sheet or some internal limitation of the number of Apps registering for a file type.

    Moog cannot do nothing about this - besides offering an import option in the App itself.

    Have you tried dragging a ZIP of presets directly on top of the Animoog Z app?

    I don't understand the problem here. You tap on More... at the end of the icons in the share sheet and it offers a list of all apps that can accept a zip file. Just pick Animoog Z from that list and you're done. No deleting required. Here's my More list, scrolled down to Animoog Z.

    You have to select MPE in Settings->MIDI->CHANNEL (at the very bottom)

    I don't understand the problem here. You tap on More... at the end of the icons in the share sheet and it offers a list of all apps that can accept a zip file. Just pick Animoog Z from that list and you're done. No deleting required. Here's my More list, scrolled down to Animoog Z.

    That’s what I have always done too. You don’t need to delete anything to get other items on the share sheet.

    So the 11 apps you deleted were all on the share sheet originally?

    Atom records and plays back MPE, but it doesn't have CC editing yet.
