@Tom, I have the following setup:

    • Plugable powered USB hub into CCK/iPad (or iPhone)
    • Mophie battery feeding into powered USB hub
    • Feeding into powered USB hub USB:
      -- Original version Apogee One
      -- Arturia Beatstep
      -- Line6 Mobile Keys 25
      -- (occasionally an Audio-Technica At2020 USB mic)

The biggest hassle for me was finding the right cable from battery to USB hub.

Great setup. I was wandering... You can't plug the audio-technica and the Apogee One at the same time, can you?

  • I'll try it out and report back.

@Htmx: Temporarily disassembled while I work on my first MIDI video tutorial, but perhaps this MidiBridge graph may give some idea. This level of complexity is also why I'm so outspoken about proper Virtual MIDI implementation.

  • , I tried it out. The Apogee commands. There is no way to hand over mic source to the AT2020 USB. That said, don't forget that the One comes with a cable connection that doubles as electric bass/guitar input and XLR mics, including phantom power, so you could use any standard mic. I happen to only have USB mics right now but am planning on getting a decent mic soon. At that point I may sell the AT2020.

  • I don't know if that's the case here but ipad won't work with more than one audio interface. So if apogee is connected the other one won't work. It's been discussed somewhere on this forum. Probably the pinned recommend an interface thread.
