Saddens me as this is not what the forum is about. Lessons learned? Have a battle with the charts and not with forum members? @Sebastian - mitigate reputational damage of this forum. Contests not sanctioned by @Sebastian could be clouded in controversy. Resolve or forget and move on. Peace

I tried to keep this PM but somebody wanted to play Katie Couric and started this horrible thread.
Social experiment now over.
The trolling thread was started as a joke and ended in time. This is far from it. Here, bridges have been burned and new opinions created.
I never expected all this pantomime.. It would seem to be that their is a certain amount of dishonesty going on here. I'm sure the other team members would instantly let their presents be known. Especially with all this going on.
I have an idea for a new competition. I could supply a sample pack with which a tune has to be made? I will donate a small cash prize out of my own pocket for the winners only to spend in any app or apps of their choice.
Just a thought at mo.
I think we need to keep the competitions going and encourage team work but without all the drama..

This is really bordering on psychosis. There appears to be no second team and this is some kind of crazy ruse. As far as I am concerned, all of this ugliness has been totally one sided. It's unfortunate for the forum that it's so public, but I personally have gained more respect for the parties involved that have handled themselves with maturity and decency. I look forward to their battle of which I will hopefully participate.
And for the love of god, please call it something else. Doesn't have to a "battle" but the words "forum community challenge" will now forever make me want to vomit, which they kind of did before anyway.
Still waiting for the Feats of Strength and Bake-Off segments of the competition.

The reason I offered a cash prize is purely so I don't pester developers for freebies. I'm not keen on asking for things for free..
Also I'm hoping that all the silliness associated with the last competition will fade away and I feel that we need more people to take part in these kinds of projects. It's good for the forum and it's even better for the experience and knowledge you pick up,along the way working with other musicians etc.
Any suggestions more than welcome.
@CSwinn Good to know people still believe in the collaborating spirit. I think prizing can be easy. But no cash please. Apps and sound packs are cool. The winner will use it and get a value as he probably is playing around anyway or own them anyway and give it to someone friends&family who gets a tutor with it
That could push the movement. If someone enters only to get the apps he has to put a lot of effort in it. Could be good music. As long as the "event" is transparent and open we will have a lot of fun
My only suggestion would be to post some simple rules as soon as possible so we can all move on. Looking forward to it @Digitalresonance.
My suggestion would be that WMWM can in no way take part in the next round. No comments, no voting, nothing. Although I am sure he will only create a new avatar and try to join in just so he can get a personal laugh out of the whole thing.
I also think this particular thread needs to stay on the issue at hand, and not become sidetracked.

This is where the controversy starts. He clearly implies, and has in no way shown otherwise, that the prizes will all go to the winning team. He only changed this after the contest was over. Period. He has only avoided the issue.
AS: I think you need to cut your losses here. It’s clear WMWM is playing by his own rules now and isn’t being forthcoming. Furthermore, your open letters are probably giving him further satisfaction.
