  • @krassmann it‘s frequently used in ironic context, similiar to the german „Schlawiner“ ;)

Whether we like it or not, this platform has a lot to grow to become practical. I bet you wouldn’t react the same when seeing the term of ‘ditching mouse or getting away from the desktop/laptop after a whole day in work...’ often used around here. Guess what... for many people our debates between two WWDC, overpriced products or a whole 8 hours of sitting in front of a computer seem just as ridiculous :)

Hehe, yah back when I had a 20 year old ass and wrists I thought just that. “Do some stretches Grandpa!”

Oxford dictionary explains it as ‚dishonest activity‘. So what is dishonest about Hainbach making iOS apps?

Older, traditional use means dishonesty or trickery.

There is a more modern use that means "fun or silly or amusing activity".

Hainbach does "experimental" music that is not traditional or formal - it s a bit crazy. And he kind of "breaks the rules" sometimes and uses non-musical equipment to make music.

So, "shenanigans" is a fun way to describe it. Interesting word for a German to use, when you think about it...
