A bit challenging if You would like to combinate the Intimate Things with other settings - they got its own hall/reverb - just studio, not real dry.

I really find some of those 8DIO sample instruments interesting but I don't own Kontakt and I find it also quite expensive given that my sampling needs are already fulfilled by the stock sampler of my DAW (Bitwig). Isn't there any way to avoid Kontakt? I did a research if there is a converter but in vain.

Not if the instrument was made for Kontakt. The free Kontakt player does allow you run full Kontakt instruments in demo mode for 15 minutes at a time, so it is possible to record the output into Bitwig's sampler, if that sounds like something you'd be interested in.
Yeah, I'm going to wait until the last minute to sign up for the freebie. Waves is obnoxious with their emails.
This is one of the better saturation plugins out there. It creates magic in the mix. Definitely my favourite.
