    I like finger drumming, but this isn’t really finger drumming. it feels very natural to play. it feels
    to me like connecting different element of a drum groove by bouncing between shapes. hard to explain, but fun to play.

    Thanks everyone for the motivation to get it. It sure looks fun and well made. But can’t seem to find much info or vids using it into a non AUM daw. As standalone mostly.
    How would it work in Cubasis3? I have def more of a ‘place a midi note’, instead of ‘real time record’ workflow.

    This is a great app that is regularly updated with new features (instruments, patterns, etc). It is however not well integrated in the iOS musical ecosystem as it is neither IAA nor Auv3. So, I just voted using the link above to ask for AUv3 (pluggin but host could be nice too) as it is a mandatory move for this app to become really successful (imho)

    same here. it's a nice and inspiring app, but really needs work as Auv3 to be useful

    Anyone know which Beatsurfing ‘instrument’ is used to play the guitar (scale? arpeggiated?) notes at the beginning (and also in ‘the pause/interlude’ part) of this video? (also asked them on their yt channel..)

    The scaling not great. Bit like Scaler 2 you have to really stretch it and it still chops the bottom of the window off. @Erik_Beatsurfing Any plans on improving the scaling to make it fit better it’s a struggle to get it to fit on a 11 inch screen and some of the graphics appear to overlap? Also a video of how to use it as a midi controller for other apps wouldn’t go a miss as having trouble seeing it connection listed in AUM. Great update thanks will get a lot more use out of it.

    The loopers in this inside AUM will be fun to use. Also you can use it as a midi controller.

    Anyone try midi out yet as a AU Extension as cant see it listed on the top of the AUM midi matrix was going to try it out with splat for clat.

    Seems to be some confusion with IAP at the moment. The standalone app charged me $20 (pending) for another year and then the AUv3 tells me I need to pay $28 to unlock.

    @Erik_Beatsurfing Had my first freeze using Beatsurfing 2 as a AU with mini sampler trying to load a preset. Froze my screen. iPad Pro M1 latest iPad OS. Any forum members been on the beta for this it does feel a the app as a AU has been rushed out and still needs refining ie with Scaling. Limitations of use and freezes etc. Same thing happened with the cross sampler. This is seriously going to limit it’s AU use. At present it appears you have to build your templates in standalone and AU is for playing only not constructing by the looks of it.

    I have to be selective with ipad and apps because of a screen issue. It also seems because of power supply but got screen issues again setting up a touchscaper midi via aum to Drambo on another ipad. Seems like apps that have loads of screen command make it bad.

    Never used app although good.

    Were it a subsription anyway?

    I am excited about this as BS is a super creative environment etc. I expect there might a few bugs with the development, but I did just open one version in NS2 and got this message...going to reboot and see if that helps....

    For the record: Did reboot and BS2 opens fine, but I get the above message when I try to add a second copy....probably an NS2 thing maybe? Works fine (in terms of adding etc) in AUM....

    Does it send midi out?

    One thing that would be handy is better IAP transparency. I would like to be able to purchase during a sale, or before I go away without WiFi etc. At present it seems I have to wait for it to end and then click a non free feature to get the purchase screen.
