@CaelumAudio, when seeing and interacting with your beautiful Flux curves, I wonder if you have considered a time-warp file player feature, in the style of Sector? Basically, your y(x) would be the next sample index position to play. Linear ramp up curve - normal playback. Linear ramp down - reverse playback. Triangle curve - ping-pong looping. Squiggly curves - scratch effect.
Not sure if this can still be done in the fx slot, or if you´d need Flux to also support being an instrument.
This thing is pretty slick upon first use. No bugs found yet, but I def like it enough to put it through the ringer.
Is anyone having trouble seeing the au in AUM after the last TF release?
Hi all!
Thanks for the fantastic feedback in this first week of beta testing! Here is the first update as a result of feedback. This has focused more on new features than fixes; we are aware of potential issues surrounding mouse support and presets, if you have anything to say about either of these then please get in touch.
Due to popular demand there is now a new effect called "Delay (Fixed)" which allows for tempo mapped speed change effects including reversing. This is a new effect so please let us know how you get on with it.
We have also introduced a toolbar which is displayed over the graph area which has a couple of new tools: pencil and eraser.
Changes:
-New "Delay (Fixed)" effect.
-New toolbar.
-Pencil tool which can create points with a single tap/swipe.
-Eraser tool which will delete points with a single tap/swipe.
-Cubic curves (2 control points) work on all locations.
Here is a video demonstrating the new effect and toolbar on a drum loop:

The new "Delay (Fixed)" effect might do exactly what you want! You have to play audio into it though of course; it doesn't load a file itself.
Great! Let us know how you get on!
We have just now released a new build - let us know how you get on with it!
I'm excited to see how everyone gets on with the latest update! Hope everyone has fun - I've had great fun coding and testing over the last couple of days!

Thanks @CaelumAudio . Installed and a restart, then it showed up.
@Ailerom great news, enjoy! I always find it odd how iOS doesn't always pick up AUv3s. I had to factory reset the other day as none of my AUv3s I have installed had icons in any host.
Great work @CaelumAudio - I'll update it in a little while and get playing with the new delay effect...Thanks!
Best multi-fx!
Although I don't beta test software anymore, could someone please test this out on GarageBand?
How do you assign (or cancel an assignment) a modulation curve (A,B,C) to an effect parameter?
edit: found out
Hi Everyone!
Just released a bit of a boring update which focuses on bug fixes.
Changes:
-User preset delete window now appears when delete preset is tapped/clicked.
-Possible fix to mouse support.
-Cleaned up the settings menu with the new icons from the floating toolbar.
-Floating toolbar is turned off by default on the first time the app loads.
If you encountered any of the above bugs then please let us know if it now works.
Cheers! Did you get any cool sounds going?
Glad you like it!
Are there any key things that you're concerned about that need thorough testing? There are two of us at Caelum and one of us only uses GarageBand when on iOS so hopefully everything is picked up but if there are any common issues you run into then we will gladly test.
Cheers,
David
Thanks. Yes, please apply to a variety of track types, including Apple’s drummer, and any track with prerecorded audio, to check for audio spikes. I’ve experienced extremely loud audio pops using Tape Pro… which I have on iOS and I also have the macOS version… (which could potentially be addressed with a built-in limiter?), so check to see if this happens with this app also.
@CaelumAudio | Very nice iOS option. Definitely reminds me of Cableguys Shaperbox but in the best way possible. I like that you've added in Cableguys - Midishaper functionality too (which I find myself using far more often than Shaperbox on the desktop). And the CV out is the icing on the cake.
And on the UX front, the touch-operated bezier control points are silky smooth and provide granular accuracy at the same time. And it's great that you've built-in Apple Pencil interaction too (this is quite often an oversight in audio plugins).
I haven't played with the FX themselves so much to date as I've been having lots of fun controlling external CV kit, but I intend to explore further in the coming days.
@CaelumAudio were you inspired by this

Or just on the same cosmic wavelength?
PS check out the sequencer grid for the effects
And those guys look like they're ripping off the Toneboosters logo...
No
They're very similar.
This came out during our development of Flux Pro! We had the idea around 2 years ago where our concept was just called "Performer" and was inspired by the modulation controls within Serum!
Later on we should be launching another beta called "Flux Mini 2". It has less going on than Flux Pro but runs on the same updated engine.
