YouTube was being a bit buggy by the way and showing the vid as private even though it was scheduled. It is now public.
What was the original sound? I thought i hear a waterbell.
I forgot to add that to the comment - will do! It was Mersenne default preset with delay removed, triggered by Rozeta Particles playing fast, short, high pitched notes 👍
haha, i thought it was a bell sounded something (Mersenne is the kind of synth for it)
Is it just me or does the way the delay times are written in the app make you want to pull your hair out?
2 more vids, one ambient, one techno

Igor has been kind enough to give me more giveaway codes for that techno vid - 1 for YouTube, 1 for twitter, 1 for insta - all details in YouTube comments
Is this live now? I haven't even had a chance to check. Looks killer.
Still no update in the AppStore in the UK… looking forward to this one.
No, that I know of. I just took this image from his tweeter account because it seems that this is going to be epic
Update is out
Nice! Thanks for keeping us informed. Excited to try
Definitely worth checking out Igor's walk through of the new sampler panel...
Yeah this update is incredible, Igor is a wizard
Didn’t even see the update. Can’t wait to try this out 🤩
I can't get the cells to respond to anything - tapping nor recording. Tried restart and stand alone and AU - they're just dead. I'm on iPad Pro 2021 and iOS 15.4.1. Anyone else?
EDIT: I got it, didn't realize you had to press another button first [S-IMP].
Same issue here...and on the iPhone, I cannot even bring up the Sampler Panel view.
Thought it was just me at first, glad you pointed out the Sample import button marked S-IMP
Nice, and it's the other one [S-SAVE] if you want to record sound into a cell. Not crystal clear as it says "Tap cell to load sample"
Hope you, as well, seen this @echoopera ..
Yep, Igor is amazing, but o ge the best from his apps you have to attempt to climb inside his brain. lol
Well said that's one very singular brain right there 😂
BRAAAINS!
An experiment using the new sample cells and midi mapping some of the controls to my new birthday present the Akai APC40 mk2. Bought mostly to use with loopy but finding it great for driving other apps, its so nice to have real controls and not virtual. Edit in Luma Fusion effects created using TouchViz.
Hope you enjoy
This one has been updated and the optimisation seem to work pretty well. Just ran four instances in AUM, using a 512 buffer, without problem. Some UI stuff has been changed as well. This is a cool plugin for sure. Good update!
Hopefully we'll see an overhaul of BeatCutter too, wouldn't that be something.
Edit: Just realised I wrote on a thread where you could win a copy but it's from -22 so ... sorry about that.
Hmm, is there a way to have constantly auto record and play loops from an audio stream, or are the only options to either make sure there's enough of a pause so the sample isn't immediately re-recorded or to manually press 'ready' to record new loops?
Trying to find a workflow that enables it to work without much hands-on work while a sequencer is playing into it. I really enjoy playing live into the app but haven't figured out how to make it work unattended when there's a constant stream of audio being fed into it.
Sometimes you just have to "wake it up" and you do so by shifting through the /LOOP/ setting: Auto/Signal/Ready/Fixed/Manual/Direct, and, in the end choose either Direct or Auto. Then after you have had it going for a while you can turn off your music and just enjoy the aftereffects of this wonderful little app, it can go on forever, I think, I never pushed it that long.
Hi, I use Brams Scatterbrain (a lot) to send into multiple Spacefields so I can slowly 'keep waking them up'
You need to set it to Auto and set the threshold so it triggers another loop now and then. It’s basically using an envelope follower as a trigger. If you’re using a sequencer you might find the triggering is too regular, though. An evolving sequence with plenty of dynamics might work best.
Love the idea of "waking" it up!
Fantastic idea.
Thanks for the help...what I find is that if the volume never falls below the threshold long enough, the app just keeps recording and recording without actually playing the sample. If I set a 5 second loop size and the threshold is constantly being met, the app seems to just keep re-recording 5 second samples without playing them. I would actually welcome Spacefields constantly triggering/recording and spitting out terrifying ambient sci-fi echoes at me!
I've only been able to use spacefields effectively by either setting it on auto and playing an instrument manually into it, ensuring I can pause long enough for a loop to finish recording and play back, or to more manually record and trigger playback. I suppose I could send it a sequence of notes that has long rests embedded to simulate the space I give it when playing into it live.
