Even the sale price is no joke, but I doubt you'll regret the purchase. If you're the sort of user who is happy to buy more than one synth app because you want a variety of sounds, then the very worst case scenario is you end up with a handful of new synth apps that you can use through AB for other projects. And the upside if you like the sequencing and the way it all goes together is that you may have a whole new creative platform for generating ideas.

I figure it like this: I'll get one or two songs out of it that make me happy even if I never use it again. I'd pay $30 bucks to make me happy, plus have a couple of songs on the other side of it. I payed >$30 last night to get happy and all I have on the other side it is a mild hangover.
Couldn't say no to the sale, picked up Gadget, fun times, love the Miami wobble machine. I still think it could benefit from landscape mode.
