    Aparillo for sure!

I haven’t open this synth in months, but you really are right. Also, I’m always impressed with how generous sugar bytes is with presets.

  • LayR is the best imo.

Has Aparillo been recommended yet? ;)

About 10 times or more on this thread :)

  • Agreed Module Pro is slowly becoming MVP for orchestral

I've never had a play with Aparillo prior to this thread but just downloaded the "free" version and man it does sound deep and lovely. What does the $38AUD IAP get you?

Among other things: a ton of presets, many of which will sound "cinematic" without further processing.

  • This thread made me think of apeSoft Stria & iPulsaret etc.. and how I need to use them more. They could definitely work for some cinematic stuff.

  • 100% synthscaper

    It’s a beauty for sure!

    Run anything through PaulXStretch

    My brother! 😎

For traditional orchestral samples, the KAPro IAPs in Module Pro are invaluable! For synths? Buttersynth beta is amazing (albeit still buggy, but we're slowly ironing out the bugs before any public release)! But for publicly-available synths, I think I need to by Aparillo and play with it! 😂 I also love Zeeon.

I need to try more of the Module IAPs. Any others you’d recommend? Was gonna get the Mellotron one but I finally caved and bought Sampletron 😂

  • This thread is making me realize how much I take Module for granted.

Off the top of my head, I'd definitely recommend the Triton pack for a hit of nostalgia. 😃 And the Mellotron one as a Plan B since you never know if IK will royally f*ck up Sampletron like they did Mixbox. 😅

Luckily I have Mellowsound in case that happens 😂 it’s still my second favorite and I love the character it has. The Triton is definitely #1 on my list. Love those 90s Korg workstations.

Me too! Alrighty, go for Triton. What is it, $4.99/$9.99?

  • Can anyone tell me how heavy on CPU the KAPro orchestral IAP for Module Pro is? How many AUV3 instances can you run?

    Ready LayR One

  • Remember the Tritons

Has Aparillo ever been on sale? Loving the sound of it but at that price I think I'd look at the desktop version first.

Yes, it has. I bought it for desktop in a sale in January ($39 from Audio Plugin Deals) and I’m pretty sure the iOS version has been in a sale as well.

Magic! Thanks for that. I’ll wait in the shadows and grab it when it’s on sale next.
