Thank you all so much I’m going to check all of these out in detail, watch a few tutorials and I’ll probably pick out about 10 of them. Love this sub, thanks 🙏
Inspired by the Portatron 4 Track post, and this post, I made the…
Mega Monster Music Mangler Sampling Looper
I call it the 4MSL (four-missle) for short.
It contains so much power, you can put something into it and literally make it disappear by the end. You can dial in anything from minimal massaging to total decimation and anything in between including sampling and looping.
Excellent. And if you need help with anything relating to music, just private message me.
And keep us posted on what you do eventually purchase please.
Wide range of varieties, there are some many insane good apps out there. Adding a "distinct flavor to melodies" is what I'm also looking for at times.
I normaly tend to stick to MIXBOX (it has 70+ effects that you can rack into a max on 8 slots per auv instance) You get a nice bunch of presets depending on the instrument or drums.
For punch and saturation, I'd go with BEEF. It even has a limiter and a transient shaper.
If you don't have FLUX PRO, start with the free FLUX MINI or FLUX MINI 2 to add movement to your track by creating a shape over your graph. I can modulate amp, cutoff, res, mix. FLUX PRO however is insane, will take some time to master but is great to have.
DLYM, Magic Switch and Magix Dice are free and are great to use as well. Delay modulator, Chorus and Reverb/delay.
If you want to take things to a next level, try TURNADO. Hardcore Audio Mangler that will leave your original track beyond recogintion.
And for synths or drums to stand out even more, WOOTT is excellent. Upward/downward compression, 3 bands + limiter.
What are the effects you already have? Depending on those we can fill the gap, if there is any
No worries, there’s just so many good ones, in so many different categories, it’s hard, at least for me, to help you out, without writing a novel, lol.
