    Looks great!. I dig compressors “you can hear”.
    Got a question about the slow/fast modes… How do the attack/release controls work with them?. Are they faster/slower within being fast/slow (relative)?. I hope the question makes sense.
    Cheers!

    • In «Fast» mode when control signal reaches Threshold the compressor immediately and very fast starts to lower the signal level slowing down by exponential law;
    • In «Slow» mode the compressor in the same situation starts gain reduction very slowly thus most attack of the signal passes through.

    If you’re using the compressor for transient suppression then «Fast» mode is recommended.
    If you’re using the compressor for transient shaping then «Slow» mode is recommended.

    Hi, thanks for the answer. I understand what you’re saying but I wonder what the “attack” and “release” mean in those scenarios. Does a slower attack in the “fast” setting make it less “fast”?. Are attack and release relative to the chose mode?
