  • Wow this Igor release actually looks like I could understand what’s going on 🙈 can’t wait to hear it

  • Igor has kindly given me permission to give you a look at VintageRack.
This is not a tutorial, but as you will see it's really easy to use and sounds fantastic.
All being well this should be available early next week.

  • Ooohh
    Thanks Doug @thesoundtestroom

Imma be broke by next week between this and the upcoming GSi releases… to quote classic hip hop group, 3rd Bass: “I got the GAS face” 🙃

Vintage Rack is a Dolly Parton app?

Please keep sexism out of the forums.

Come on now. That’s as harmless as it gets. Dolly Parton would laugh at that joke, probably even make it herself.

Plus many other self-deprecating jokes she’s made over the years. I really can’t imagine she would be offended by jokes about her breasts.

Agreed. If we've reached the point where all slightly edgy humor is dangerous all we have left is dad jokes.

To save myself from the thought police, I feel I need to add that there is definitely humour that crosses the line. To me though, that Dolly Parton joke did not.

Ditto. I know some people think they should be able to say what they want and no one should be offended, but it’s not that easy. Conversely, I think this one is pretty harmless, particularly when the person involved joins in.

Anyway, back to the other vintage rack…

Absolutely. We're on the same page. It takes a lot of skill to use humour in a way that is not offensive. Especially on social media where no one can see your face and body language as you joke, and have no idea whether you're a good person or some kind of monster. I'm sure if the above Dolly Parton joke had been shared between friends - even more left-leaning people like myself - nobody would have found it offensive.

  • Now I need someone to make a sequencer called Dolly Pattern.

    I want that one.
And you can do a double reference there and make the patterns be clones of each other with slight variations
