Why are you calling me defensive when you were the first person to rebut my post? Go look in a mirror...
edit: I find all the backlash against my posts in this thread to be funny. We are on a board that is for enthusiasts of an app only available on Apple products. First thing on this thread is negative speculation of Apple products that has specious reasoning. Why is the negative reaction coming to those who point that out? No one was insulting anyone personally, and yet there were all sorts of caustic reactions to folks who found the linked article to be problematic. Legit question here.
Dude, I had stopped caring or responding a few hours ago, you'll probably have a better day if you do the same...
Or you could stop assuming about the day I'm having (it's been great for the record, good enough that I'm in an expensive suit, even!). You put far too much importance on our discourse here...
Apple scaremongers are aplenty especially around the time of a new release from Apple. Just bring on the new iPhone and iOS 8! Don't like Apple devices or you think they shag older devices (what a shabby proposition I say), you can always bake your own cake and eat it as well. The rest of us will continue to buy into this ecosystem however imperfect it is.
I think I might be an "apple apologist" and an "apple scaremonger" depending on the situation/day of the week. Is that bad?

"Labels are for canned food". Michael Stipe
I so wish you'd added "Michael Stipe, Rock Musician"
He's just a human being!!! Oh wait, that's a label too....
Rock musicians are human beings too...
...well, some of them...
If Apple made a car would it have windows?
Not sure, but I'm damned sure you wouldn't be able to open the trunk...
Haha
And it would only take premium fuel from a Citgo built after 2008 and a very specific set of tires that costs a quarter of the price of the car. And you'll have to get a new garage because it'll be slightly wider than a standard one car garage. And next years model is already in the rumor mill and it will be a cold fusion powered flying car.
