    Yeah 😂
I honestly feel like people like Hainbach, amongst others, and with the release of Ableton Note are making the iOS music platform relevant enough and the paradigm to mobile music making is shifting into place. Lately I’ve noticed more desktop developers porting to iOS 🙌

The revolution will not be televised ✊🏼

It was his ongoing collaboration with Hainbach that made me think it was something that was perhaps even already in motion. This was around the time that GSI had started porting to iOS. Since then, we've had the emergence of Unfiltered Audio and the new Hainbach/BramBos app. So if he was on the fence, maybe that's all it took to tip him over the edge :)

    Right on!

Also looks like Ableton learned from Native Instruments and built a better mobile solution.
Hopefully NI fires back with a Mikro that is compatible with iOS and desktop 🤩.
Just imagine how well this could sell because current Maschine users would probably buy this new Mikro just for the portability!
Me dreaming… but I digress: I feel like 2023 will be full of “ported” surprises 😎

I've been so tempted by the Mikro on many occasions. but the biggest would-be draw for me i.e the ability to use the controller to slice 'n' dice samples is absent. I'm not even asking for onboard screens, and I do get the need for product differentiation, but that cut-off is set too low. The other units are overkill for my needs.

Anyway, I agree that there's still space for a killer NI app. Would be great if it offered cloud access to all the content users already owned, so rather than trying to port all my expansions, Battery kits etc. to all 64Gig of my iPad, I could just audition and drag from t'internet ;)

And definitely curious to see how 2023 goes.Maybe I'm wrong, but I get the sense that perhaps a lot of iOS folk are jaded these days. Good to see you think things are just heatin' up :)

Good point about the sample slicing, I have a Mikro MK3 which is great but just nabbed a full size MK3 this week and having the screens is a different story altogether 🤩

Ah...To be clear, I don't need the screens. Just the controls that interact with the on-screen sampler of Maschine so that samples can be chopped without touching the mouse. I could probably just about squeeze a full-sized MK3 onto my desk, but the price and extra features are a bit redundant to me...at least, at the moment. But I'm still curious about it.

    How're you finding it?

So I guess looking at the Instagram image we get Filterjam first, a freebie just like on OSX?

Hainbachs filter, the Space Echo, Wires, that Jamaican Dub thing.. and we have the Channel strip, 2 rare drummachines, the spring reverb, and so on and so on, so much high quality stuff. And the GUI of these plugs, man it’s going to smoke in the app store.

Don't forget 'Noises' it's really really good.

I love it. It feels standalone like the + because you can do so much on the screens and with the controls, despite being tethered to my MacBook. It also helps my understand the purpose of the +, even though the price is a bit much in my opinion, although currently on sale for $1000 right now which seems more reasonable. I was already in love with the Maschine workflow from using my Mikro because the flow is so intuitive that I find it addicting to make stuff. I really wasn’t in the market for a full size MK3 since I already had a Mikro, but a local guy sold it to me $225 🤩Given that it is also an audio interface and has MIDI in/out, it was a no brainer. If you find one low cost (under $300) go for it!
