My favorites are the Things series plugins and just some weeks ago I bought the Alborosie Dub Station. Finally I can fully replicate the King Tubby dub reggae sound.
Excellent point. This is affecting me more and more. Since I also bought a MacBook I‘m making music on both platforms. When I buy a plugin for Mac I usually can install it on Windows and Linux, too. Most vendors allow 4 or 5 installations. But with a few exceptions I have to buy plugins twice if I want them for Mac and iOS. And I actually did that already some times. Plugins from Imaginando and Bleass for instance. That is actually not fair. Okay iOS versions are usually half price or even cheaper but still a double purchase. Buying Aturia‘s V Collection a second time? No f*cking way.
And I know what is the reason: Apple’s AppStore. 😡
But with iOS 17 Apple has to open up for alternative AppStores - at least for EU customers. And then vendors could grant iOS licenses with their own license management. Sure, most probably I will have to install portal apps from the vendors but I‘ll be happy to do that if I don’t have to buy twice then.
Here's a demo for FilterJam on drums and synths.
Hope to have way more apps of theirs this time next year. Mostly excited for Reels and Wires which I own on desktop.
Is there a way to modulate the frequency? I’ve tried connecting it to Rozeta LFO, but can’t seem to make it wiggle the thing…
That’s strange. It should work, I’ve been using Strokes to modulate it in AUM without an issue. How do you have it setup?
Works with mlfo
I’m probably doing it wrong - it doesn’t appear in the list of MIDI destinations, so I’m sending Rozeta on channel 1 to the filter, receiving on channel 1.
Ah ok - sussed it - there’s an extra cc assignment on LFO that I hadn’t setup!

Can someone help Audiothing to join this forum? I made a post on Twitter earlier this day and invited them on Audiobus, but he seems to have a problem. Would be great to have Audiothing here! https://twitter.com/audiothing

Hi all! I finally managed to sign up (for some reason, it kept hanging at the signup form).
Glad you all are enjoying Filterjam, we are already working on more apps and also improving the mobile experience as much as possible. Our plugins were not designed with mobile screens in mind, but we'll get there![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Great to have you here!
Welcome to the Forum. And thank you for Filterjam.
Any kind of timeline for the rollout of your apps? And can you tell us what might be next?
Welcome aboard and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!
Welcome! Enjoying your desktop plugins, looking for the iPad versions 😍
Do you plan an open beta as unfiltered audio and others did?
Open beta would be great - I think it is very helpful for desktop devs to make the beta pool wide when doing their first iOS releases, as there are a lot of mediocre ports from desktop. Plus there is no chance to demo apps, usually, on iOS, so - as Unfiltered Audio showed - open betas can be a win-win for all concerned
Welcome welcome! so happy to see you here 🙌🏼
and Thank You for this first release!
This. @audiothing , you now have access to a rather fantastic - and demanding 🙂 - pool of voluntary beta testers, entirely free of charge. All it takes is some constructive engagement on this forum. A bit of a challenge perhaps, sometimes, but worth it. Use them for your benefit.
Or ignore them at your peril.😁
@audiothing Happy to see you on board! I am very curious as well what might be the schedule for upcoming ports. What can we expect in the upcoming months, which fx first and so on?
And as mentioned by other members, if you need beta testers, here we are!
Reporting for duty 🫡
Welcome @audiothing!
Glad you’re here, @audiothing . Really looking forward to your future releases, and thank you for Filterjam: it’s great fun.
I use Noises on desktop, I think it's beautiful.
Yeah it’s well clever, it gave my homemade valve oscillators somewhere for their recordings to live 😁
Outer Space on desktop, best Roland Space Echo emulation with lots of extras.
Excellent! I remember a very inspiring thread you posted fairly recently with all kinds of wonderful experiments and sounds.
Cheers, my workshop has been a bit chilly the last few weeks so I’ve been staying at home animating mostly this season… hopefully I’ll get back down there soon and finish some actual soldered circuits that I can bring home, or even send to other people! I’m planning a set of ‘firestarter filters’ as I’m calling them; RC networks made from new old stock paper capacitors I was gifted that may or may not be safe - I’ll make them passive so the risk is minimal - as Picasso once said, ‘without danger, there is no art’ 😅
Outer space is awesome, I hope to see that one soon
Likewise. It's quite nice.
Thanks guys! We have many iOS plugins in the work at the moment. We'll post some teasers in our Instagram stories. The plan is to release one or two apps in January. We'll see![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
