Yep I use Wavebox a lot. If you didn’t know it can also host AUv3 effects with an IAP. Same as Dawnbeat (except it can also host AU synths and drum machines).

Koala is my favorite app as well but Dawnbeat is great if you want a change of pace.

I actually didn't know Dawnbeat could host synths and drum machines. Definitely going to check that out tonight! Thanks for letting me know that!

It’s an IAP but it’s relatively cheap and goes on sale multiple times a year.

It’s half price at the moment at 4.99 and also includes extra effects and a slicer. Still don’t know how to get a WAV file out of it though!

You can export the current sequence by going to Menu>Tools>Render Sequence. Choose Share Audio and save to files. To Save an individual beat, I create a sequence with just it in once and then trim the file on the Render Sequence window before hitting Share Audio. No idea if there is any better way.

    Thanks 😀👍

Hi, I’d like to be able to do both 😀

There’s a red speaker button top right. If you press that while you’re performing or your sequence is running it will record that and then give you all the options for export when you click share.

Guys, I bought Fab Filter Timeless 3 and this app is like nuclear plant for me. It sounds great but so many knobs, sliders and visual effects which I don't understand at all. It looks like Valhalla Delay on steroids. Could you please recommend me good YT channel with tutorials for quick learning? (RTFM, I know)

    short but helpful:

Timeless 3 is so powerful that there’s a feeling of guilt for not using it … and yet still, thinking that those taps should have individual pitch adjustment in this “ultimate delay plugin”, but sadly no. Tap pitch is not available as modulation target.

This is the way I do it! It’s a little clunky. It would be nice to be in the main menu. But it works and get used to it.

  • Dawnbeat is a free app with a sale on the IAP - Dawnbeat Complete is $3 off at $4.99

  • Photo

Virsyn Harmony Eight was mentioned recently. Can adjust pitch for each of the 8 taps.

I don’t know of any tap delays with pitch per tap (harmony eight maybe?) but there are a solid handful of some great pitched delays. The Eventide apps and Woodulator are both fantastic.

  • Drambo hasn’t been on sale since November 2022, what do you think the chance of it going on sale for Christmas is?

You can work that out using this handy formula :)

This is a complete guess, but I think there is a 60% maybe 65% chance drambo will go on sale sometime between now and January 1st. It might be a small discount, and maybe only for a short time, but my app sales ESP is telling me there’s at least a 50% chance it will happen. BeepStreet has only done a couple sales recently. Dagger for a little, then Radio Unit, only doing one app at a time. There’s obviously no guarantee's, and I’m completely speculating, but January 1st is less then 2 weeks away. Imho it’s probably worth waiting the 2 weeks to see. the Holiday Season up through New Years Day is the second best time of year for iOS app sales, with the weeks around BF/CyberMonday being the best. People get gift cards around the holidays, new devices, they buy/get gift cards in a promotional deals, so with this influx of spending money, sales follow in an effort to earn your business. If it was March I’d say don’t hold your breath, but since the holidays are upon us, I think it would be wise to wait. Plus you know as soon as you buy it at full price the sale will drop the next day. lol. Cheers!

  • New App from the developer of TONALY not to be confused with Tonality, which probably happens.

ChordButter - Progression Tool is a free app with a monthly $4.99 or yearly $29.99 subscription.

  • AI/Photo/Video

Epik - AI Photo & Video Editor is free with a couple IAPs on sale.

  • KORG HOLIDAY SALE ENDS TOMORROW!

Wise advice thanks 👍 I’ll take your advice and wait see. I’m trying to get my head around Dawnbeat at the moment so that will keep me occupied for a while as will the other dozen or so apps I bought in the Black Friday sales 😂

I’ve had this app for at least a year maybe 2 and this video just blew my mind.

@bleep i feel the same way. This video has reignited my interest. I’m definitely diving back into this one.

  • So from my not professional passing knowledge of physics I knew this was particle related

“This Standard Model Lagrangian appears to have neutrino mass terms with a Higgs coupling. Does this bother anyone?”

  • In summary, it seems to me that the Laplace's demon is trying to guess when Drambo will have a sale, just as the demon would try to predict the movement of a billiard ball. In this case, the L is supposed to be the L of Lagrangian and the L of Laplace. (This is off-topic so I leave. Poppadocrock, I’m sorry to bother you).

It seems easier to predict the behaviour of neutrinos than to predict the likelihood and timing of sales, so I'd say you're spot on here :#

    Whirlpost is free usually $4.99

I just might buy the fab filter bundles. Then immediately develop post-purchase-rationalization and plugin-stockholm-syndrome, as I keep using Gadget, while being very sure that it was a wise decision. I mean, it IS a good decision, right? Right!

You can use it on your stems.

Love the developer. I’d buy the app immediately, but the subscription doesn’t provide the same value.

Secta - Amplitude Modulator is $3.99 for a limited time.
